Yeah I know, for the most part, in pubs, 2 seat is the best by far. Soloing generally is for taking out armor, which is more effective than 2 seats, because there is no communication involved, only thinking. So more gets done in a shorter period.

But when you get guys as good as some of the people I play with/have played, they have perfected solo chain gunning, and can do a circle of death more effective than a 2 man crew.

I have always been able to pilot an attack chopper pretty good, but I have complete control now, I can judge the hydra's perfectly, and someone named kev from fadeight (forget what they're called now) showed me how to solo chaingun.

I'm not much of a solo'er, but I can see how effective this can get.

I know what your saying, and respect that.......... cos at end of the day you ARE air domination lol
I just wanna get good in the chopper........ I can fly good now, but i usually (apart from, confidential onfo) i get noob (with higher rank than me BTW) who dont even know how to guide a TV missile.
The few occasions i got a good gunner we went to town and owned the map......

At the end of the day.... i would rather stay ground pounding than mess with all the team killing and stuff that seem to be the norm if you wanna be in the air,=..........

I normally just play on servers that are either half full 64s, or 32 max size....pretty much guarenteed either the chopper of a jet...

there are so many different walks of life in bf2, so man different whore type.
I dont like medic whores they will do ANYTHING to revive you, sometimes thats good but when they tk another medic so they can revive you then they get tked by some other medic whore who then revives all 3 of you and then keeps tking you and revivng you 4 rest of round....

Solo chain gunning isn't that hard of a concept(I say that when I can't do it, haha). I hate gunning, I probably have a total of 30 minutes gunning and 75 hours pilot. I just can't seem to judge the MG after I do the thing to the chopper you need to do to solo chain gun(won't say what it is cause there are some pilots who don't want it exposed...so to speak).

It doesn't seem hard, but if you aren't a good pilot, you won't be able to do it.

It uses a circle of death orbital spin thing, and switch, and you have about a half rotation to gun. It gets very disorienting because of the seat switching.

I can do it, but I haven't learned how to be effective with it yet.. IE I see like 3 infantry... it takes me too long to set up.. where the good guys are already killing them.

That's the secret to a relaxing BF2 experience: no frustrating gunners/pilots or line-ups for the birds.

Or you could like get a very good pc that loads up a game in a dime. then you get one of the first in and you have free choice of your preferable vehicle in this case a nice shiny cobra. Definatly my most favourite vehicle, used to be the JSF before I broke my flightstick.

Even if you have a very fast pc, and you are the first one in, someone else will probably be hopping into the gunner seat before you take off....

My hardware allows me to get in first if I want... but you're shortsighted: what about after the initial rush? You're forgetting that people WILL be waiting at the pad and at that point, it'll start sucking.

20-30 players is optimal unless you like headaches.

Yeap, but even that can be trouble...I was On [EPIC] Wake today, and there were 16 people on....this guy kept getting in the gunner seat, saying over voip that he was an incredible gunner. Well, I held him on a chopper for about 20 seconds (literally) spotting it pretty much constantly. I could see his chain gun moving around like mad, and he said over voip "dude, fine me some infantry to gun" I told him about the enemy heli that was right there, and he said "it takes to long to chaingun those"

Told him about the TV, he thought I was accusing him of hacking. (???????) He got all offended, quit the squad, and bailed out.
