Now i feel the pain of the nerf

i was never around before the 1.3 patch, but i saw a video of a guy doing great on karkand with an ak-101, only because he was so nimble. From what ive heard, there is now a big delay between dives, and you can't shoot while airborne anymore. Im at the point now that these handicaps are limiting my ability to get better. Yeah i can crouch to avoid the delay, but it just isnt the same. How could EA be so stupid? they even said they like to make battlefield a game where skill stands out. Now when i dive to kill someone, im guaranteed dead by the time i get up (karkand). Why, in hell, did EA NERF INFANTRY ABILITY, come on. I guess i've reached my peak, i mean i get first if i put my head into a round almost every time. But i know i could be even better if my soldier wasnt so limited in abilities. I guess EA Did it because of complainers. Thats just not fair. Your a newbie so you suck, your a veteran so your good, your an expert so your good. DOESNT MAKE SENSE. By the time i get to general (if) i bet my skill wont increase one bit.

also i got a Q about io, i heard that health is increased, anyone know exactly how many bullets it takes to kill now? ie g36e is normally 4(NA)-6(A)

it wasnt about skill, it was about people using macros to own on the battlefield.

is this the handicap you were talking about?

Quit playing Karkland. Worst map in the game. Try playing something more open so you can use tactics and position more effectively. I'm an average shot at best and count on out thinking my opponents.

They nerfed the game to appease weak players like this guy that called macros and hacks on anything that raped their face.

Nerfing firing while in the air was the true nerf that ruined movement.
This was a fix to the GL, which was a backwards fix for a small problem.

The delay was intended bunny hopping while on your stomache...the whole game. Altering hitboxes, max accuracy, and hopping.

The entire game feels slow as **** now.

Now they added the pause on the crouch, which completely breaks down if you go too fast for it.

So you want people to fly and jump around the air like this was Unreal Tournament 2003 in low gravity? WTF? Just because something gets changed, doesn't mean it's a bad thing. As most would agree, BF 2 wasn't really "finished" when they released it. Because of it's popularity, people have found ways to play the in ways Dice didn't intend or was too incompetent to deal with. If you want that style of game play, play a different game that is based soley on reflexs/hand-eye cordination.

I don't think the delay after standing up from being prone is a bad thing. Maybe it's you who are the whiner/cry baby because you can't adapt. You can only play a certain way and if the game doesn't match it, you complain like the very people who your complaining about.

I think a game based on reality should mirror it more than not. While I don't want a simulator, I don't want to play Mario Battlefield either.

You'll either adapt, or you'll suck.

Yep, me and the rest of the gaming community.

The game played fine the way it was, its because of the noob it was changed. Instead of working out bugs and glitches, they nurfed everything.

Dont worry, EA is learning, 242 is an utter failure.

Agreed with the first post, 100%. DICE has succumbed to pleasing the whiners and now the game is unrecognizable.

If DICE would have fixed the BUGS, fixed the netcode and hit detection, there would have been a lot less whineage, and Im sure, with proper hit detection, none of the random cone of fire would have been in this game.

                          Everybody wins.

Yes taking out the ability to fire while shoot was stupid I agree.

But to be honest all infanty looked like this before the delay.

I mean seriosuly is that a way we wanted to play?
I mean the delays werent a perfect fix, but that play style was way to nuts and ruined the game.

As said, blame random cone of fire and fvcked up hit detection.

If people would hit what they would aim, Flipper would have stayed in the television.
