Is this game coming to REAL LIFE?????

I have seen the stories that people come up with about this game, but has anyone actually thought that this game is playing into a real life scenario?

1. I was reading a headline from AOL.com regarding Iran’s President: “Iran, led by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, has recently urged Arab Gulf nations to kick the U.S. military out of the region and join Iran in a new regional security alliance”. (MEC)????

2. If you look at China launching a missile at their old satilite in outer space last week just to get the our attention?? The US has said over and over again that US satilites are considered US territory and if a country blows one of them up or damages them it would be considered an act of war against the US.

What would it take for the middle east to form this “security alliance” and for the PLA to knock one of our satilites out of the sky? This game would be considered a preview of the S**T storm Bush has drove us into. If our troops are tired now wait until we knock over the bees nest. Maybe the US should play more video games…

Please explain how China testing an anti-satellite missle is a "preview of the S**T Storm Bush has drove us into." At this point, China isn't going to do anything to jeopardize the 2008 Olympics. BTW, you should do some research on where exactly China got the technology to make that missle.

Almost every crack pot leader in the Middle East has fantasized about being the great Muslim leader who would unite the region - the chance of that happening is slim to none. In most cases, they hate each other almost as much as they hate the United States and Israel.

1. The US military would knock any Middle Eastern country's military off the planet. Come one...we're the country that says no one can nuclear weapons...yet we have enough crap to set the Earth off it's axis.

2. China(as someone said) would not jeopardize the Olympics. Nor would do anything to jeopardize the relation between the US and themselves. China is our biggest ally, and us to them. Plus, you said it was an old satellite? Maybe the US has given them permission to take it out, cause they are testing this missle...maybe it's just time for that st. to come down.

3. AH-1Z FTW I'm siding with the US. Plus...we can always choose the uber-1337 G36E.(psh...give me a handy M16 beaches)

Oh please, another Bush hater jumping on the bandwagon. Bush did nothing to get us into this, its actually DICE eerily selecting the correct countries to spar against. Now if the game was more realistic we could actually just make remote drones and all of us clobber them from afar.

(if no silly medic would dry hump amadinijzad for .1 seconds to revive him) we would be alright in 15 seconds after our airstrike......

China(communist) and U.S. Allies??? Hardly!! Too many people talk out their asshat without knowing the score. The only thing holding China from taking back Taiwan is the U.S. and the tech it has sold to Taiwan(EW Radars, Ticonderoga Class Frigates Etc.) They TRADE heavily of course but that don't mean squat.
China has about 40 older Fission only(kiloton of tnt range)(U.S. thermonuclear warhead is a Fission reaction, 10-100KT, to create the much larger, 100KT-50MT, fusion reaction) ICBM's that can reach the U.S. mainland(and quite a few other shorter range). China knows this and has to fight a conventional war. It has been practicing amphibious assaults, buying arms and building their own aircraft(J-10 anyone). They won't attack anytime soon mind you, unless Taiwan formally declares independence tomorrow.

China is just showing off. They would give the U.S. (I'm Canadian BTW) a run for their money in pure numbers but would be bleeding bad after a couple of CVBG's(carrier battle groups), Tomahawk, and JASSM/JSOW attacks from
outside their operational ranges. China does not have the kind of satellite imagery/Intel the U.S. has, hence the recent events(SAT/Imaging screwed the Soviets in the Cuban crisis).The U.S. is deadly when it has well defined and definite targets and a definite enemy.

Urban MOUT operations like in middle east(Iraq,Afghan) are difficult(just ask the Soviets) when the enemy is not well defined.
Everyone cries foul over the U.S., but who "helped" save Europe from world wars and then from the Soviets, who would have marched into Europe through Germany because many of the Europeans would rather be Red than Dead or else be Glowing from Tactical and ARTY nukes over advancing Soviet armour divisions.(watch THREADS or similar Nuke documentary).Also Nukes aren't the be all end all. Most U.S. nukes are dialable from 10-250 kT(10 kT being hiroshima) and use 2-3 per target, air bursts(most detonations) are relatively clean but do major overpressure damage to structure's and are more destructive above ground, ground bursts are very dirty and are only used on bunkers and silos(goodbye midwest U.S.) Soviets liked em big 1-20 mT(10 mT leveling 10 km, damage out to 20km)

And you may think us Canadians are all weed and beer and peace and smiles, but remember, we have THE best snipers, and some of the toughest, meanest infantry around, even if our helo's cant fly and subs cant dive. And we make most of the U.S. tech up here(radars, guidance sys, optics(best))
