While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
I dont need teamwork when Im in the chopper, yea locking the squad is a good thing sometimes and yea i guess I can go find a server without such a rule but thats not the point

Ok, if I really try to use my brain, I think I know what you, yourself, think is the point... You don't think admins should be able to control way too much of the gameplay. Well, really, why not just join a squad and then never bother about it. You aren't forced to follow neither give orders.
Find another server, then. There are thousands to choose from.
They pay to run their server, and they should be able to designate how the game is played (within certain limits, of course).
I agree with that to some extent, I'm just talking about some of the more recent rules coming out on many servers ( I play lots of different servers ). A lot of them are game-breaking. As far as Lone Wolf's are concerned, it should be allowed. Squading up does not guarantee teamwork. I'm all for team play, but even I just want to do my own thing from time to time, and not be responsible to, or responsible for someone else.

Actually it is quite a percentage higher, you can include team-switching when not in a squad a form of forcing you to join a squad just to stay on the same team
As far as squads and Lone Wolfs, I don't want Lone Wolfs to join my squad. I kick players who don't go to the objectives I set... so joining my squad won't help them either :/
BF2 isn't perfect, but then again, no game is. People really need to lower their expectations for christ sake.

I have a simple solution for you. Join a clan. Well, a clan that has their own server. Pay your clan dues, I think most clans are around $10/month. Then you can help create the rules that your clan implitments on their server. Then play on said clan server with the rules that you helped create. Oh, but be prepared to give up 40% your time policing the server from smacktards that don't like your rules, but still want to play on your server, then and come here to ***** about said rules.
I dont play karkand alot, I played IO maybe twice, Im not a granade whore and I like teamwork but please understand, its not about finding a different servers, Ill sell you my car but you are only allowed to drive it alone :|

Exactly. It sucks that you develop fair tactics and strategies to help your team win, and make the most of every class available in the game, then someone wants to restrict what you can do in a game.
The biggest load of crap is telling Spec Ops they have to leave an uncap after they blow up stuff. So convenient so the enemy commander can drop the 'magic box' down and repair his assets, yet Spec Ops have to leave. Other rules are "Spec Ops cant drive in or steal from uncap or sabotage planes, vehicles,e tc" Ummm, that is what Spec Ops do.. sabotage.. Now many server are restricting this further by saying what classes can assist the SpecOps unit. No supply guys, no medics, etc. Horsecrap.
I miss the good old days when there was an entire squad dedicated to blowing up enemy com assets, and the subsequent defending squads, while the rest played the game as usual - capping flags. BF2 was at it's best in it's original form.
"No attacking the uncaps" was just the beginning of all the game-breaking rules.
