Things that you love and hate in IO.

The one thing that i love in IO are medics. Dont you love it when youre prone with your pkm/m249/rpk/mg36 and just killed 2 or 3 dudes, medics will come and dive to save their comrades and when u kill them, more medics will come and get killed and so on till u get popped in the head by snipers, or any other class. They wont even know that youre there as they thought taht their mates were killed by nades, and by the time they realised i'm there, it's a little too late. Other than that, i also love knifing rearming nade whores.

Cracks me up every single time seeing medics dolphin dive to save their dieing comrades. The things that i hate in IO are claywhores who bunnyhopped their way in crowded areas and dropped claymores just to get a mere 2-4 kills. The other thing is the constant hearing of ''first aid here'', ''ammo here'', ''you need ammo'' and ''frag grenade''.

I love the man to man combat that you get on the good servers, and the tactical thrill of getting a good squad together. I get it all the time on the server I play IO on, so do not say that it is rare.

I do not like the idiots that just use it to point whore, and also the claymores around every corner...on some servers.

It all depends on your server.

Prepare to be flamed to pieces by the way, a lot of people here assume that if you play IO, you are a stupid point whore that is not intelligent enough to play a "real game"

I also enjoy IO only, specifically Warlord, because it takes squads to win on either side.

On the other hand I hate it because of the nade spammers and too many snipers...if only I could artillery the 30 snipers on one roof....:evil:

I love the close combat and working with tactical squads.

I hate the claymores and medics that will revive you instead of shooting at the 3 guys who are ready to gun you both down.

I wish they would make a game mode where you still had fast attack vehicles and transport choppers I think that would even be better than IO

recapturing a back flag then having to walk all they way to the front to get back into the action, IO would be great with just transport vehicles with no guns attached, would make use of the other kits too.

IO is just too much for some people, unless they got 3 inches of steel armour under their arse they dont want to fight, *****'s !

IO is 'back to basics', most n00bz are queing up for the armour/aircraft whilst the rest of us ground pounders are having all the fun !

If they nurfed the nades to 2 each & 1 claymore for snipers & 3 med/ammo packs respectivley it would be utopia ....almost.

I can tell you one thing for sure....

As admin to one of BF2's most popluar UK servers 'SKUNKDOGZ' i was constantly having to open up the admin CP to eject unruly/non team playing armour whores, since we went IO i hardly EVER have to do this.:)

I love the more balanced gameplay...but wish there was a fast attack mode(jeeps only). Haven't played IO in sooo long.

I love IO mode so much, not because of the points i get or the fact that i can easily come in the top 3 almost every round. What i love about IO mode is the chaos of big 20vs20 battles in the urban maps. Sometimes theres even mreo people in one place making things evne mroe chaotic...I love it. There isnt much i hate about it. Yeah nade spamming is annoying, but i just find a way around it.

IO in itself is a great alternative to vehicle warfare, but as always there are downfalls as many people have already said.
In my experience IO is either very good with intensive infantry battles or one team is rank stacked and has 1 or 2 squads with just medics in that are practically invincible!!
If it wasnt for the nade spammers and claymores these medics would go EVERY round with 0 deaths and 30+ kills/revives each!!
Its a bit like the argument about Jets and AA, the only viable AA is another jet (GREAT - sarcasm), so is the only way to compete with a team rammed with medics is to do exactly the same (fight fire with fire)?
