Your sources are flawed. The 8800 scores were nixed, and the R600 does not exist (yet). I do not doubt that the R600 will be faster than the 8800GTX, but the fastest card on the market IS the 8800GTX hands down. 2 X1950XTX's in crossfire costs wayyyy too much money and unfortunately, it's not all it's hyped up to be. The 8800GTX is still faster in almost all of the tests.
Keep dreaming. The 8800GTX is a fabulous card. However, if you've already got 2 7950's in SLI, there is no need to upgrade unless you absolutely have to. You would see maybe a 10% increase in performance from your 8800GTX, but that's not worth the money for the upgrade. You should wait.

By the way, I wasn't denying that the 8800GTX wasn't a monster, just that apparently it's nowhere near as good as what's coming soon.

Go die come back go die again burn your self and then cut your self, and then attempt to write a decent sentence.....The VD 3000 looks even worse than your old white windows 2000 computer go Google XPS 700 if you want to see a sexy computer. If you right click your bf2 icon you can go to compatibilty and change it to windows 2000.

Lol. it's cool dude. Everyone knows the R600 is supposed to be a monster, but until we actually see a legit site review it (ie Tom's hardware, Guru3d, etc.) we can't make any conclusions about it's power. We HOPE it's going to be faster.
Honestly, I was a little surprised when I read the benchies about the X1950XTX Crossfire against a single 8800 GTX. I can't believe the 8800 GTX still wins. :laugh: If I ever decide to SLI 2 8800 GTX's, I will have to get a new PSU though. Apparently a 700-watt OCZ GameXStream doesn't cut it for 2 8800 GTX's.
