You ask about a hack that lets you use regular weapons and call me a clown? Some of you people crack me up.

Seems like you can't read either. Who the f**k asked about a hack that lets you use regular weapons? I was asking whether regular weapons were perhaps a sign of people using a hack. I've been reading a lot lately that there are more and more instances of extraordinary efforts by individuals. My experience lately has been pure ownage (2 deaths and 70 kills as infantry) by players who are not regulars on the servers I play on. Apart from pure skill (which I never fully doubted), the only other corellation was the use of regular weapons, hence my original question.

There IS a correlation;

- AK is pretty much the best weapon out there
- competitive players don't use unlocks, because unlocks aren't allowed in toughest leagues -> if there's a (legit) player on a server that absolutely destroys others, he's probably using regular weapons

as for cheats, I can't think of a single reason why you couldn't use unlocks with them

There IS a correlation;

I've only been playing clan matches recently and you're absolutely right that all the good players play with regular weapons.

When you rank up you are given an unlock as an incentive and it provides you with another option. Can you imagine if all unlocks were better than the stock weapons!! Higher ranker people with more experience and better guns...game wouldn't be worth playing.

The Ak-101 is an assault and a medic weapon (assault having GP-30 grenade launcher however), so having an assault class weapon, unlimited medi kits and 2 points for every revive etc....can't go wrong

I like playing with the AK's when assault or medic for MEC or PLA. But then i also like using the G36E when on the USMC. Is it just me or do people prefer the the AK's because they sound really powerful. They are really powerful aswell. You can meet 3 enemies coming round a corner and be assured that if you unload a clip, all 3 enemies will be dead.

ak-101 is ok in my book its all aboutthe l85a1in terms of medic

The L85 is a good weapon. But you pay in the recoil.

Its also nearly like a sniper rifle. I have used it in this way before and quuite amazingly got a head shot on a sniper from about 100 yards.

I don't understand the b*tching about using unlocks though.. FFS if you can't deal with it, then either A) Use them yourself if they are SO much better, or B) get better...

The unlocks are no more powerful than the standard weapons.


I hate the G36E. It sucks imo. Everyone calls it a noob gun or whatever.. you guys are ****ing idiots. It's a gun. I would rather have an AK than that pos. It spreads way too much.

Pretty much... the weapons are balanced.. There is no "noob" gun.

That is also true. The J10 is like a super galactic star ship from 5000 years in the future with forcefields to stop it getting hit, and lightspeed turning ability.

Unlocks arent upgrades, they are just other options.

As an admin who has seen pbss of hackers. I still am not sure is only non unlocks are used. In our pbss we only get the center third of the screen. What gun they are using is not available. But I agree with everyone here. The AK101 rocks and it is the only MEC gun I use. When U.S.M.C. I use the single pump shot gun. The only time I use an unlock is on U.S. on Jalalabad. I will use the G36E to help me get the fountain flag, then go back to the pump when we have a flag in the city.

I'm not doubting that they were good. I'd like to know when a hack is installed, does the user only have the standard weapons to choose from, or can they in fact use all of their unlocks.

I wouldn't know since I don't use hax....

Can you remeber the player names? Just curious since you are in Aus and we may play on the same servers. Also I've been using the Ak-101 a lot more then G36E recently
