A Question Regarding Hacks (NOT How To!)

Just curious about something. Do the hacks that are around only allow people to use the standard weapons, not the unlocks?

I only ask because I was on a pub the other day and was absolutely pwned by a couple of guys who knew exactly where I was, one shot kills and I could never kill them. The only thing that stood out was that both used the MEC AK-101 weapon. I know that this weapon can kill with one shot to the head, but EVERY SINGLE TIME was a bit much. Now they were probably just too good for me, but it did make me think that they might have used some sort of hack.

I'm not whining about it, just curious.

I'm not doubting that they were good. I'd like to know when a hack is installed, does the user only have the standard weapons to choose from, or can they in fact use all of their unlocks.

i wouldnt know...but a lot of people randomly started thinking that unlocks are for noobs... i dont see why they would be restricted to just the first weapons though....thats just my view

Because unlocks are meant for people who can't shoot with normal weapons

A few of the people I play regulary with have high ranks and prefer to use the basic weapons over the unlocks. The AK 101 is a prefered fav with them. They get accused of hacking on a regular basis but take it as a compliment. They definatly don't cheat and are good players. As far as what kit is availabe while cheating, I wouldn't know.

I must admit, I have seen the AK-101 many times as a preferred weapon. I'm pretty hopeless with it myself :)

ive logged over 1400 hours and i basically use all stock weapons.(svd,ak's,m16,mp5/pp-19,m4/aks) i might pull the g36e after a bad round because the whole other team felt like its what they had to use to be cool. but playing with it is kinda unfair imo.

Press the G key when you kill a MEC or PLA medic and you can have their "hacks" too.

I got quite a shock when I played my first clan competition game and two minutes before the match I was told no unlocks allowed!

As the clan medic, I had to quickly learn to play the game all over again. I'm quite good with the USMC medic weapon (M16 I think), but like I said, I suck with the AK-101.

AK-101 is lethal. Sniper accurate on single shot and it's like an automatic shotgun in CQB.

AK-101 is by far my preferred weapon. I guess you haven't played many scrims because the standard is no unlocks. AK-101 FTW!

personally i prefer the ak47, yea the ak101 pwns all in site on karkand, i love it, but on wake i just go nuts with the 47. the thing is so devastating, similar to 101 just feels better and people seem to drop quicker. i just wish there was a nice cqc chinese map, besides 16 player, and even those are wide open, that would be the ultimate. some of the chinese stocks rock.
