I like useing SRAW and only SRAW for killing enemy inf. It works great, I love when you get in on of those hide behind the box fights? you know the ones.

I'm an AT whore, I've been turned into it because it's a 1 hit kill weapon . And targets that aren't at short distances can easily dodge it, but I angle it up and to the right and bring it straight down on top of them since they don't see it coming straight at them, also aiming at the ground slightly, but at a decent distance and firing then bringing it up into them, by doing it the trailing smoke will disappear, so they'll see it about a second before it hits them and poof they'll be like omg.

but anywho MP-5 > all other guns.

Eh, I like to actually use the rockets as intended on vehicle server, and the only reason I will have my rocket out on an IO server, is if I run out of DAO and pistol ammo, which has happened once....

I only really use it if i'm in trouble, and i'm in the middle of tank hunting.
But other than that i tend to try and not use it against Infantry.

Unless your a player that likes being shot at with a anti-tank rocket!

Fact is, if you die to an AT missile, its almost always your own fault. Just as you never stand still when engaging a sniper, you never do it to a AT soldier who has a AT rocket equipped. You die, but not because its easy to use that weapon as anti infantry. It isnt, people saying it is are jokes.

It's only cheap when it's used against me.
I'm allowed to use it against infantry though.

I think it's valid to blast infantry with the SRAW/Eryx so long as it's a desperate measure. Like using it at almost point blank range because you got ambushed and cannot switch to a firearm in time. Or taking out snipers when no one else can.

Using it regularly as a primary weapon against grunts just shows you've been playing Quake 4 too much.

I only use it when I have to, if I'm in a situation where I don't have enough time to change to another weapon, I will AT the guy to defend myself. I don't use rockets as my default weapon when I play AT kit though.


However, I'm more than happy to use it against 5 or so medic whores that run to revive their team mate I just killed... boom, all of them dead, including the guy that was laying there for several seconds, got revived and died again... just to look at the sky for several more seconds.
