Yesterday I was playing karkand IO as Special Ops (BEF) on a 32. Did a few stints as various other classes but noticed the team was loosing pretty bad. Our Commanders assets were forever being destroyed.
Any way I went Spec Ops and took the long trek over to USMC base and destroyed their commanders assets. Their commander did a supply drop by his radar which landed within the corrogated fence inclosure but not close enough to fix his problem. I duley went in and sat by the Supply drop and restocked my C4 so that I could again destroy his assets once they were fixed.
Here's where opinions may differ. I went prone while stocking up and an enginer turned up to fix the command post. I thought to myself I can either wait for him to fix it and come over towards me to fix the radar, or I could just shoot him, run over and plant the C4 and leg it out of there. I took the second option.
I destroyed the command post again and went round the back of the petrol station area, where he spawned again and missed me. I waited for a while then went round to destroy the radar he had just fixed, he then came round the corner and did me in (fare enough, it was a stupid move to go back because the commander would have picked me up on radar by then).
Anyway I resporn at the other end of the map and notice this guys trying to get me kicked. I ask "what for" and he said "for a base kill". I told him that "I was Spec Ops and just doing my job" and to "get over it" seconds later the game ended.
What are your thoughts on this?
