The reason people hate it is because its harder for you to kill them, you just want it so people stand still so they are easier to kill, and people won't do that. just look for a second, your the one that got killed, so YOUR the noob for NOT bunnyhopping/etc. Again, this is BF2, Telling someone to stop bunnyhopping in BF2 is like telling someone to stop bunnyhopping in quake, it's not going to happen and it's retarded. People feel like they have to jump because they want to win, and I dont blame them, seeing how well it works. If you want to sit on your dumb crane and have everyone stand still, go play some single player bots. kthx.
no, doing the reverse would be called 'PLAYING THE GAME' not hopping away from it like sum fagg.....doing the reverse would be getting in a position with cover, and firing back......like ur supposed to....if u wanna hop around like some noob then be my guest...

also, your post above is based on the following ASSUMPTIONS:

A: i get killed by this elite bunnyhopping "tactic" (lol)
B: that they make hard targets
C: i snipe from some crane

as for A: bunny hopping is lame, its actually a way to avoid playing BF2, while still playing BF2.....its not a tactic....pressing space bar repetedly is not tactic, where is the tact here? it takes MORE skill, and tact to fire on your enemy and kill it, not hop away from it cuz of precious KDR...

as for B: bunny hoppers make for very easy targets......they are vulnerable while in the air, they cannot fire their weapon....also their movement is very predictable, and easy to land more hits on them......bunny hopping is the oppostire of the smart thing to do.....TAKE COVER....bunny hopping makes u stick out like a sore target.....and everyone likes putting down a lame bunnyhopping noob, then tea bagging them and telling them on chat thats what their bunnhopping asss gets....

and as for C: i dont play sniper much.....and if i did, i wouldnt be on a crane.....lol those things are not safe at all....

bunny hopping does not get me mad, or annoy me, it doesnt effectivly combat me on the field, and is not in any way, shape, or form, tactic....all it is is a way to flee from your enemy like a coward....and it makes my game look stupid so please stop  .....

People play all different styles, I am from a twitch background, I prefer my gaming fast and reflexive. You sound like you want a more Rainbow Six, SWAT style of play, niether is wrong, and niether is "THE" way to play the game. You don't decide what I, or Monk, or anyone else should get from, or enjoy about the game. That in itelf is one of the great things about BF2, I can go from Rubberducky to Tactical Gamer and have two completely different gaming experiances in the same game. Playing competition, is a completely different world than playing in a pub, both have the ups and downs. If I want to creep slow through streets and warehouses, I crank up RS: Vegas, if I want to run and gun at blinding speed I play Quake Arena, but more often than not I play BF2, it is the perfect mix for me.

If bunnyhopping doesn't bother you, than why bother yourself even mentioning it, much less making derogatory comments about those that do?

As far as people that cry about bunnyhopping, go play PRMM, it was made to cater to your type of play, BF2 is an arcade game, devolopers said so, and you are in fact...wrong.
I've been to war to...who were you with, and what did you have?

They've been sending more and more guys to sniper school recently because they have found that it is quite demoralizing to the enemy to see people struck by rounds and not know from where they came.
I have no idea who told you Combat Lifesavers can't also use crew served weapons. Seeing as there aren't any dedicated medics in the USMC, only Navy Corpsmen, the "medics" are most likely CLS qualified personnel. Those guys are regular troops who just have extra training.
When I've been deployed, I've been issued a bayonet that happens to be a fairly large utility knife. Most people get them, they're dead useful. And when I was in the 82nd, every jumpmaster had multiple knives in case we had a towed jumper they had to cut loose.
Granted, there aren't a whole lot of M203s assigned to a platoon usually, but I HAVE been issued M67 grenades as well as trip flares, colored smoke, and star clusters. That's what the little pouches are for...
Well, I'm recently back from Iraq. I do apoligize if my quotes differ from the marines...this is something I should have looked into, I'm army. Yes, I know about the jumpmasters...Airborne Airborne All The Way brother. Yes, I know what the little pouches are for...however it is getting less and less that they are acctully issued.

I'm Army too, I've just worked in joint environments enough to learn quite a bit about how they run things.
It's true that we were rarely issued grenades in Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi, that AO. Grenades aren't selective about what they blow up. That's why we don't use them much in an urban environment with civilians around. In Afghanistan more of them were issued out. Not many bystanders in the caves and mountains.

82nd Engineers attached to 2/63 Armor batt. Operation Phantom Fury, rolled into Fallujah with cav and Marines and spawn camped alleys :P. Our medics carried M16A2s as well as a M9, out LT and CO both carried M4s, as well as M9s. Our SLs and team leaders carried M16A2/4's with M203s or M4's as well as 1 or 2 hand grenades. I myself carried a M16A4, Mossberg 12G w/00, and four frags, and had a case sitting next to me :). We were placed inbetween the tanks and the recovery vehicles, as we facilitated casuality evac (my squads primary mission since two of us including me are EMT certified, and CLS trainers), as well as the usual light ground support, clearing buildings, patrols etc. Quite an experiance. We had a couple AT4s per vehicles, and we did carry them when we patrolled dismounted. Our mechanics, which aren't engineers, were usually within 50m of us behind, they had to be close to the frontline to recover any tanks that might have gone down, as well as knocking down walls and buildings to help move tanks through the city. The snipers we worked with didn't carry clays, they mostly went out at night and shot insurgent setting up IEDs.

                    ya ur right....

i think bunny hopping is stupid, and makes my game look dumb....i think it dumbs down gameplay.....in game, it doesnt bother me...but when i see ppl defending it, and i sit and think about it, i feel compelled to express everything i see wrong with it......

but ur right.....i could find a server that is more skilled, and need not resort to noob behavior or "tactic" lol...

i cant help laughing at ppl considering bunny hopping a tactic....its as tactful as tea bagging

Well, it takes no skill to tap the sprint key, or the "w" key, or the crouch button, so what's your point?

"Tactics" is anything that you do to get an advantage over you're enemy. Jumping helps get that advantage, hense, it is a "tactic".
