To me, the GL is the only draw to the Assault class. Yeah the G3 and Flashbangs are cool too, but with every assault kit there's really only one good weapon. People tend to use the GL a lot more often because they want massive kills. You can kill 4+ guys with one shot. People have just figured out a new way to use the GL since it was nerfed.

Most guns are considered noobish by those who cannot or do not use them.

Why use assault when you have support and medic. Assault is a pretty much useless class imo.

BUT I sometimes do these GL-only-rounds. It`s not that hard to master. I still don`t have any idea why they added that "sight", so useless imo.

It takes more skill in CQC then the shotgun at least

I never use it and I play assualt alot never got around learing how to aim with it.

Well, I am going for Expert Assault...'bout 12 Hrs. away, I have been really loving the assault class, 1,700 + kills with the GL attachment, seems a bit weak though..never used the early "powerful" version before it was nerfed. Seems the ideal weapon I like for taking out boats and cars. Some reason I have trouble with the F2000 GL, seems a lot weaker than GP-30/M203. I am no noob with this weapon, not to brag, but it's true, I have hit many targets and killed them far away. BTW best kill wit GL was a full boat coming straight at me, got 4-5 kills, can't remember.

I've only used the GL a few times, it does reach the parts that a nade cannot sometimes. At least in unskilled hands (my nade throwing that is....20+ accidental TKs and counting). The GL can be be more accurately aimed IMHO. Took a guy out on top of a building in Gulf of Oman that was noob-tubing choppers. Was right up against the wall of said building, aimed straight up, fired, and it came straight down on top of him.

Awesome! my best kill I can remember was when I was coming down in a parachute from the top of the crane on sharqi and I saw a vodnik smoking going in the opposite direction, I was near the tower of the crane, vodnik was by the AA turret, shot from about 75% height up from the crane, popped it and got a full set of kills. Glourious! ^_^

I quite like the M203 and GP-25. But the F2000GL got nurfed a little too much though I think.

I like getting very long range shots and multiple kills.

after playing alot of SF i am liking hte assualt class again.

call this no0by but its fun, get a squaddie to go support, and use your grapple to get onto a building from there its easy to GL off. he can fire his MG to get kills and can resupply, its even better on IO, when you nail one guy a flock of meds come !!!BOOM!!! all of them dead, massive ticket loss for there team.
