    Spacebar = mouselook
    CTRL = Enter/Exit

        I wish I could... but I'm ridiculously lazy. You could always ...

        1- back up your profile information
        2- reset the controls to default
        3- compare the controls with your own
        4- plan the adjustments to be made
        5- restore your profile information
        6- make the requisite changes to the controls

        ... and that was too much energy expended on my part.

              what is the yaw factor, i have my heli sensitivity's at default and regularly have to move the mouse a mile to pull up if i go for a dive when i have no gunner.

                Re: helo controls with mouse

                well it wouldnt let me apply mouse axis to the controls, it said duplicate key found in common controls.......which I dont know where because I dont see it in common controls

                anyway I figured I'd alter it in the profile (something I never did before)
                I found that in the profiles folder there was 2 folders 0001 and 0002
                0001 is the default settings and 0002 is my custom settings so I just did a little copy/past of the entire helo control section and BAM there it was....back to default
                I'll give flying another shot with these controls

                  Re: helo controls with mouse

                  if you wanan fly like a pro then learn to combine rolling with rudder to make smooth turns and stuff its sweet when i fly and do the whole "squad spawn on me in the chopepr thing"
                  people sometimes ask me if im using a stick and when i say know it often changes their mind about buying one, joystick pwns for jets all the way though.

                    default controlls and I recommand 1600 dpi if ur mouse supports it

                    also in mouse options i have everything on 10(sensitivity, yaw\pitch factor)

                      well my G7 is on the fritz right now so I cant change dpi as I had to revert back to regular optical mouse until my G7 gets replaced
                      but I set everything back to default and went to an empty server for the last hour and I must say it is much easier to fly once I got used to the new control settings, I think if I put as much time in the helo with the mouse as I did with the stick I will be a much better pilot than I am now

                      thanks for your help guys

                        Indeed it is, at least for me.

                          I have never gunned for a pilot using a joystick that seemed to have the response a KB/M does. Everytime I fly with someone the uses a stick, it seems to take them forever to move.

                            I have found that a stick allows a pilot to do more radical moves like flips, rolls, and pulling up in a steep dive (just like in a plane). My friend used one when I was a gunner and he could do all those maneuvers. But he couldn't land between some trees with out hitting them.

                            I use a keyboard and mouse with all of the settings to 10. One I got used to it, I can now fly fairly decent. I flew with him and he commented how much better I was.

                              I never used a joystick with the chopper but trust me all that can be done with the mouse and our new chopper stunt video will prove it, I dunno when DSP will finish it tho
