We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
Basically your getting your a*se kicked by snipers and cant handle it.
He isnt being killed by snipers, he is being killed by noobs who can plant claymores. A team full of retarded monkeys could defend Karkand/Jalala/Other city maps.
all of the damn servers are either 24/7 karkand or wake.. or jalalabad or w/e and that is a ****ty map.
I sooooooooo agree with you on that one I don't like Jalalabad nor do I really like Karkand the only map I do really like is Wake Island and 95% I'm USMC and flying a F35-B / AH-1Z on that map.

To the OP:
Can't Engineers remove them?
Yeh they can but it's easier to complain about them:)
That's why I play on servers with FF ON for claymores and mines! FANTASTIC TIME! No stupidity to worry about, no whores running around - and if there are whores spamming clays, they get TKs.
If it took a few seconds for the claymore to be deployed I think it would take away a lot of the offensive use.
To the OP, if the SL is doing his job and letting his squad clear the stick it isn't really a problem, other than having to respawn on the SL. Too many poor SL's out there that go running in with the squad and get wasted.
It's too bad EA isn't going to patch anything anymore, because I would like to see claymores restricted or removed from the game altogether.
Entire flags are being defended by these stupid things, and there is absolutely no counter to them. Teams are winning because of these claymores.
I should know, I'm usually one of the first guys capping a flag, and subsequently the sole 'sweeper' of these monstrosities. Countless times these noob devices have saved an otherwise undefended flag from being capped by me and my squad.
It's one thing to provide claymores to protect a sniper from being ambushed from behind, or guarding a ladder - that's acceptable. Now they're being used as an offensive weapon. Unbelievably, a sniper can charge me while I am shooting him (seems to have more armor than Supply/Assault class) and somehow plant claymores before finally dying.
But one round, every corner I went around in the game I got killed by another damn claymore. I left a server because I went 1-15 , the 15 deaths actually being by claymores, that seemed to be everywhere. I couldn't handle it.
Being a leader in this game is not easy, because you're the first in, you're the first to bite it. Maybe I should stay back and let some other noob get it, then go in
these are the sort of reasons why I stopped playing vBF2.
check out the Project Reality mod thou, Claymores are clacker controlled and the guy who placed them needs to watch them to use them at all

Glad someone else said this nicer than I was going to. To many retards have to get their precious points, and then go complaining when they get killed. Little tip, you want points? Don't die. Examle, you rush to a flag, get the neutralize +2, than here comes the grenade bombardment, you die, flag gone because dumb*** squadleader thinks he is Rambozo. Lay back, let you squad take out clays, revive, cap flag, spawn off you as they die and you kill the guys who spawn and throw the nades, or are rushing in to recap the flag. The trick to teamwork isn't just "ZOMG gotta git reivive and ammos pointZ!11!!!!" it's playing smart. Surround a flag, put the spawns in a crossfire, don't clump together and give some fag the ol'
Travel in pairs, one ahead, one behind, revive each other, if not medic, just watch the others back. This isn't something you have to plan or work out ahead of time, I do it with random pubbers all the time. One sets off clay, other revives,, SL provides a good spawn point, easy.
Dude, I was about to post this topic. I don't think the claymores should be removed, but their range should be shortened. Its so stupid when you see a claymore and then run about 15 feet away from it, but it still blows you AWAY!! That is really really frustrating.
I know this happened to me today...they really should shorten it. I got blasted today at near 20 feet and it didn't even count as a claymore kill... just a generic kill.
Hey, try not to read any more into what I am saying then intended. It's just a rant about claymores. Everyone knows they're lame. I'm just venting because it actually makes me feel better..
Then I go back and play some more lamer [claymore] ent|ty.bf2
Of course you can. Use your 3rd person camera view, and turn your player as required to get the right "peek" angle.
Works extremely well for ladders too.
And hey, I get frustrated with them too, but it's a valid and realistic tactic. We all gotta deal with it.
There's a 3rd person camera view? I thought this was only available when in vehicles, or on a ladder or parachuting.
And as for realistic? Really? It's realistic for a claymore to take away your soul by looking at it 20 foot away? It's a recent development. Clays used to be used as defence for a snipers back, not spammed around flags like a smart bomb.
Claymores are lame thanks to the no friendly kill option for mines and clays. BF2 got worse with every patch and it looks like its going to stay that way.
I rarely see a claymore spammer, even on karkand. Nade spamming on the other hand is common among the servers I play on. I think there's a lot of exaggeration
in these kinds of threads though.
