Dude, This sniper is Crazy!

Hello,

Today i was playing on a Karkand server while on the MEC team and realized that i kept getting killed by claymores in the same area over and over again.

Well, I finally found out what caused all they claymores to be placed...

While I was on a roof I can see a sniper sprinting like an animal dodging all the grenades exploding and not even care that all his teammates are dying and goes to the most populated areas to place his claymores killing around 2-3 guys per claymore..... This sniper wasn't finish yet... He then bunny hops like crazy throwing grenades all around him(while FF=OFF, so he doesn't have to worry about killing himself aswell), killing even more guys.
Still, This guy is NOT FINISHED YET!

Since the area is populated, Theres ammo boxes laying on the ground, So he gets them and place even more claymores and bunny hoping, grenade whoring. When someone realizes him they finally kill him.

Again, He comes back doing the same thing... Doing it repeatably over and over again... getting so much points.

Man... I thought Snipers stay in far-away areas sniping people and using there claymores for self defense. I guess this a new way to gain points with no skills?

If you ask me, no self respecting sniper even steps into karkand. Atleast not if you have to be on usmc. i mean, taking shots of 150m which is the max fov in karkand. c'mon! that's ridicilous! you can make the same shots with every gun in the game! sheesh. 300m+ and then were talking :)

Agree :P. The longer, the more skill it takes. But in Karkand you need reflexes, which also are good for snipers.

So, hold on, a sniper, with no close combat weapon, manged to stay alive, and kill a lot of your team...repeatedly, and he has no skill?

so skill with the sniper kit is what? Sitting on some crane, where everyone knows you are, watching flags being taken all around you, and doing nothing, till you're the last moron on the team...still sitting in your uberleet sniper position? Hmmm, I'll take choice A, and have the guy that is bleeding the enemy of tickets faster.

As a sniper on Karkand I'd be going for my pistol kills. need a medic often though.

It's a good and effective tactic if you are playing against dudes who cannot kill.
I mean come on how can you post and moan about a dude killing with whatever he has Legally when you have MG's etc
Personally i draw my knife and hope he is man enouth to knife battle as any self respecting Sniper would up close.
I think it's the weakest kit for street battles and don't blame any sniper for going mental with there gaymores or nades.

On a sidenote i was 10-0 before i even realised as Sniper on jahalibad. I ran to the lake MEC side and planted two gaymores whilst i capped. Yanks come along and 3 bought it off my first gaymore and 2 the second, the other 5 were done with nades and i didn't pull my rifle or pistol once. I capped, defended and held the flag until the initial wave had died then moved up to the ridge.
I didn't feel guilty or feel that was bad play, quite the opposite i thought i had done well.
I don't play sniper much though and only really select it when i get my Rizla out.
