different types of weapon for starters

pkm is not my preferred spt gun but lthe l85 is my preferred medic gun

others will say different and it depends on whether you like medic or support at this time in your bf2 life

l85 cos pkm is slow and unacurate when in standing or crouch. l85 packs a bit of a punch buch i only use l85 on SF when as seals or sas

or when im USMC on vbf2

I beg to differ. Most people don't like the PKM at first before they don't know how to use it. The PKM is VERY accurate and packs a hell of a punch.

But if all you care about is getting medals and points, then go for the medic unlock.

Medics and their weapons are godly in BF2. Go with a medic. It's the assault class with healing and resurrection abilities. You can snipe with the SMG's the medics uses, and kill 5 guys in a row in one clip.

That's bull! I mean, it's just a plain fact that PKM is not accurate. From great distances, say ~100+ it's plain luck to hit anything with PKM. Yeah, sure some Support lovers say it's "SKILL YOU NOOB!" but the fact is, that the deviation of PKM (which is huge) has absolutely nothing to do with skill. It's pure luck wheter you hit what you're aiming or not. Sure, PKM is total killer point blank to medium ranges since it's just so powerful.

Same goes with l85 really, not the most accurate weapon there is :/

But i'd still take PKM if i had to choose, just cuz of the sound :P :)

l85 because pkm is pretty worthless if you aren't in prone.

Semi-auto fire or not, it still has helluva deviation. No matter how you try to turn and twist it, the deviation is there. even if you took 5 minutes break between every single round you shoot, the deviation is still random. And in distances of 100-150m it's somewhat 5m radius in any random direction.

Whatever you say.. as you seem to know best

you've used the Support kit for 6hrs and you give that as an excuse oh please,
I've used Support for 50+ hours and most of it using the PKM i do like that gun its especially fun to snipe with. perhaps people's patience and skill depends on how someone can use a gun but ive seen people spray and pray with that gun cos they think thats how your supposed to use it

I'm not relying on my experience with the support kit. I'm relying to the facts that are written in the actual code.

                          Here it is.

personal experience of a gun is better than reading it on paper.

Sure, if you master a weapon, you can enchance it a bit. But not much. PKM for example, sure, if you learn how it behaves, you can get good hits with it more often than someone that doesn't use the weapon. But yet, no matter how darn good you are with the weapon, you still have to deal with the fact that the weapon has it's limits.
