I've similar problem as well.

My problem is a bit different, but as annoying as yours. For your case both your chopper and jet on the ground "pops up" at the same time. For my case, tank is always there, but the APC decides to hide at some distance.

What I can tell is, distance IS a FACTOR, but it's not the only factor for vehicle to vanish. Since the tank next to that APC keeps showing up all the time.

Again drivers I've tried:
Forceware 93.71/93.81/94.20 , on an Asus 7800GT.

Will try Terrain low and other settings.

Man just as I thought messing with config.bat before playing a game was a thing in the past. And now this !@#$%^&*

Did putting Terrain on low helped?

I think I have that too that the tank remains visible.. It's a weird issue. I really hope it will get fixed or people say that they have that too.

You don't have to have the problem as long as you tell if you have it or not. I don't even know if this happens to everyone or if it really is a issue related to something else!

Even if you don't have the problem
You could help by telling your system specs so we can see if there are any different things in specs. that may cause it.
