Ok I've got a serious problem here! Whenever I put my settings higher than normal which I have on my ranked account on the rest I play on low in clan matches.

THE PROBLEM:
The problem is that vehicles just vanish whenever I fly in as example jet helicopter or another vehicle or just on foot. On a certain distance they dissapear. I've always uploaded a video but it's almost done with verifying.

SETTINGS:
Well I'll go further my settings are on high for those who want to see the exact

SYSTEM SPECS:

Processor: Intel Pentium D 2.8 Ghz
RAM: 2048Mb
GPU: Nvidia 7600GT
Hard-Disk: 2X 160GB S-ATA RAID 0

Doesn't look like that bigger a problem to me, but perhaps thats because im used to medium quality...

It is! I can't see vehicles on the runway so when I fly over I can't see if a J-10 has taken off or is on the runway. Which is a very bad case for me in a F35-B.

try clearing cache files and then keep ur geometry on high

if that doesnt work, go into ur nvidia control panel, and under Performance & QUality settings, make sure Negative LOD bias is on "allow" and yeah, thats all i can think of

Ah I'm going to check that.. To be honest. I didn't cleared my shaders after I changed my settings :|:

I'll try that and if it does or doesn't work I'll post what happened.

EDIT:
It didn't worked, I allowed Negative LOD Bias in the Nvidia Control Panel and I cleared my Cache and put my video settings a bit down.

Although when I put all my video settings on low the problem goes away. I am not sure which setting it is but I think it's texture which is causing this but I will not play with low again. Certainly not because I have a new graphics card and I know playing BF2 on low isn't that nice..

Well I found the problem that was causing it. But that will really annoy me. When I put the video option Terrain (It wasn't textures I checked) to low the problem goes away. But whenever I put it to high or medium it comes back again. Even when I clear my cache between the changing of the video settings.

This game is annoying me lately. Everything seems to be messed up.. Melting Mountains, Black Textures, and now my terrain is messed up? What could happen more? Shouldn't have said that I bet there are more bugs for me underway. Stupid game :hmm:

mate ur asking a 7600GT to play all on high. And because its not as quick as higher range cards its taking a little while longer to render and load stuff up.

All high, 4xAA, 1280x1024@75hz, 75fps average, eat it biatch.

I have a similiar problem, the J10 only comes into view from about 400m, so I have to resort to spraying the runway in the hope I take them out.


By the way people, keep runway blocking, I need just 1000 points for the beloved MG36 :P

lol I'm not asking it to go all high I know that isn't possible without rendering the game unplayable. I'm just asking it to do Medium Terrain that's what I already said in this thread :) anyway!

It's terrain on medium that's causing this for me (And Ph1l) so if anyone who is experiencing this problem could post his SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS that would be very helpfull since we can then try and see what is causing it. Not everyone has this issue right?

Ph1l and I both have Nvidia Cards though one similarity

No, you get this problem on High as well. I havent tested low properly (as in seeing if I can see the J10/chopper on the ground rather than air) so I can't really tell.

Ph1l asked the exact same thing :) But, no the maximum is 100 else it would be cheating or something you probably could change it but I very highly doubt that will work. Anyway if some more people could watch the video and/or report the problem if they have the same problem including their system specs we can maybe check what is causing this..

Oh come on people, surely someone can set us straight? Maybe it IS the vehicle draw distance, but that's quite retarded.
