Some people wtill have no clue why ROE is there in the first place. Its not because servers need to be watched. Due to the "ladder" type of stat tracking system, unlock system, DUCE/EA think that everything needs to be done and had fairly. Because, as much as people say it isnt, they arent facing the facts, most of the unlocks are superior to the original weapons. So in order to keep things the way they are meant to be, there is ROE.

I dont think DICE/EA/ROE/God ever imagined that they have to deal with such an appaling number of problems and this is why it seems to be inefficient.

While people b!tch and moan about the ROE, they always love to b!tch and moan about stat padders too, irony at its finest.

BFROE exists to keep the ranking system and the battlefield series on a level playing field for all players,

we submit illegal servers on a daily basis along with the players on them,

but at the end of the day we are at the mercy of EACS on how backed up they are, and the GSP who fail for the most part to deal with their customers who run illegal servers..

those end up getting reported to EACS and get delisted..

so we do feel the fustration.

Well, youre not the one who posts about stat padders or glitchers in his/her first post, do you?

I dont care about them either, but unless ranking system gets shut down, and unlocks will be made free for all, the system needs regulated.

The sad fact is, that DICE is patching the game exactly because of stats, they are patching the game up to fix the stat exploitation, or fix the game to prevent accumulating huge ammounts of points via one or the other way, while they should be doing... genuine game improvement and bug fixing, which by the way, usually leads to gameplay improvement.

I don't understand why people get mad if someone stats pad. Like OOOO!! Im telling ROE because he has higher stats by cheating. So what its a game everyone cheats in a way. Do people really care that much? I think people are taking this whole BF2 Stats and the game way too serious.

You only see a part of the problem.

Theres stat padding like the Karkand Hotel glitching. Then theres victimizing a guy by killing and reviving him for the whole round.

Unless a clan meets up in their own server and statpads there, statpadders either waste your/OPFOR team resources, which affects your game.

On a more bureaucratical level, they rise in the ranks faster than they are supposed to, unlock weapons in ways they arent supposed to, and rise in ladder the way they arent supposed to.


A fix would have been to discard the whole stat tracking sh!t and make the unlocks and ranks working in a ET style. Where you play the game in one particular server, your exp points rise and you can unlock new weapons on the go. You leave the server, everything gets reset and you start over.

This has various positive sides to it. First of all, the higher ranking players are actually better players. Second of all, stat padding is unnecessary because youll get the desired weapon in a round or few. Thirdly, people stick around one server for longer, creating stable game atmosphere.

so your saying it's ok to cheat and get a badge or rank in a couple hours vs someone who has spent weeks to do the same thing??

Hmm. Compare this to real life. Do you leave the store after you just had to pay more than you had to? Some leave because they dont care. Some report because they do care.

The original system is whats breaking the game and causing all this bullsh!t in the first place. Believe what you want but people dont "like" it, they are just addicted to it. Youre not sharing your crack. You keep it to yourself. Thats the teamwork mentality of vast majority of BF2 players.
