Project Reality Screenshots

Hi all, Good to have a PR section on the forums now! I think more people will be considering downloading Project Reality now its been given this status, and there is nothing more convincing than a screenshot to tide you over, so feel free to post your best screenshots that show teamwork and new PR content, aswell as anything else thats going to make people go wow! I want to play that.

Here are my attempts taken soon after .4's release

The first two scenes from a variation of extraction gamemode, There is a black SUV that needs to be escorted through enemy held territory to a safe zone. Prepare for lots of thinkfast moments, routeplanning and ambushes!

note: in some of these screens the HUD has been removed, this is not reprasentative of the actual mod. Id ask people to leave the HUD in when posting screenshots! Thanks.

Be aware these were taken with 'Battlerecorder', thus, the HUD is not visible. Blur was also added in the second shot.

You do get a good view of some tactical movement and the Little Bird, though .

There is only one way to make it realistic...... in the game..... you get one life with "no" spawn until the game is over..... make targeting tougher as well...

You also have to remember that this is a game, and a game is played for fun. While the goal is creating a game which emphasizes teamwork and realism, if the game is not fun, well, nobody will want to play it. I take it that the majority of the community would not find staring at the sky for 10 minutes entertaining

Also, this is probably not the thread to bring up your concerns pertaining the spawn system.

lol duckhunt, thous screens are really old from one of the betas of PR 0.4 :p

you can see the brits guys hands disconnecting in the OGT screen, and the bridge aint even got lightmaps on it :p

lol, I would post up other screens but all the other screen shots i have are mainly bug related (searches though screen shots of floating buildings, missing trees, glowing grass, guys getting there heads disconnected from body etc :p) and you guys dont want to see them :laugh:

in that second one, im the guy prone on the ground, and [R-DEV]Happy was crouched behind me, then straight after that shot, I got up, forgetting happy was behind me and he shot me in the back of the head :laugh:

You would have thought that the muzzle flash and tracer would have given it away but there you go, that would have been a funny thing to watch :)

Jabal al Burj is my aboslute favourite map.

I have a couple I recently took.

The first is my squadron, while actively using VOIP, dropping out of our chopper hovering 500meters above Jabal. We had to remind the new guys that only special forces get a parachute.


The next explains itself. A chopper ride over China.

Heh. I remember furiously tapping my '9' key only to end up staring at the sky and wondering 'why the hell my parachute won't work'.

It was amusing at least .
