I love playing on servers where claymores and EVERYTHING kills the enemy and your team mate! Can't get any better, freedom! No claywhores spamming the place with their ****. And when you do get some claywhore that doesn't know about FF on that server, you just laugh when you keep seeing claywhore(teamkills)friendly

You get -2 points for the TK and another -2 points if you get punished for it.

That's correct. -4 if the server has autopunish on.

If you get too many then leave the game and you won't get the points.

Nope, if you have -10 and leave the server, your stats will show -10. And yes, it is possible to be "demoted" if you had just achieved a new rank. There's even a sound file for it!

you lose 2 points for the first 50% of health, and another 2 for the second 50%.........

That's not how it works.

@ zipp0r, retard, you do realize that your dumb@ss can look at your mini map, and pay attention to what is going on, instead of spamming grenades at a flag that your team is trying to take like a mindless buffoon? Stop making excuses to suck, and learn to play better instead of being a retard spammer. That goes for lame *** claymore spammers, ******* pilots that bomb bases filled with friendlies, dumb engineers that block in their team vehicles with mines, etc... It really isn't hard to PAY ATTENTION.

And Vesuvan, you are incorrect, and so is the guy you said is. It is -4 points for a TK, and -2 additional if you cause them damage before they die, example, you light up a friendly with your M16A2, but don't kill him immediately, you receive -2 for the damage, then he dies, and you get -4. YOU DO NOT LOSE POINTS FOR BEING PUNISHED.

There are upsides to both modes in my opinion. FF is only good with a bunch of people you know. Sure you're friends may still kill you by accident, but accidents do happen. The ****ty thing about FF off is that there is WAY more nade spamming. You won't die from a friendly grenade, but it'll make you're screen go all ape ****s and you'll go flying. Another ****ty thing about FF off is that too many people C4 themselves onto high roofs.

That p-sses me off soo much. Especially when they punish. I remeber when i was on mashtuur, spawned as engineer and mined the road leading to hill. I drive off in my tank and a few minutes later see:

4 Times!!! a full vod! i had no idea. The only good thing about it was that only 2 punished, well i thought, cause after about another minute the screen freezes and BAM! i'm gone for teamkilling!

Exactly! This setting RUINS the engineer and sniper kits. It ruins them to the point where they are practically worthless. I avoid, avoid servers with this setting!

rofl. can you not read? players dont tend to throw grenades AT teammates, they throw them where there are enemies only, then some ******* spawns and runs right into a bunch of enemies where your grenade just landed. remember grenades do not explode instantly, therefore you have time to stand there just watching the idoit run in and die.

your a new player, you have **** all exp. of what this game is like to play and how dumb other players can be. you have also averaged 1.7 teamkills per hour played, thats quite bad considering us veterans have got a 2-3 tk average per hour since the beginning of the game, where people would drive over mines, run into claymores, stand infront of planes e.t.c :laugh:

no it only counts toward your round score.....you cannot get negative global points

You say this but surely if you get 3 TK's in a round, say -12 points. if you dont get any other form of score then the 12 is deducted from global no?

I only play FF servers, it helps out alot with nade spamming and in a few other areas. Quick example, you're trpped in a group of enemy soldiers, another guy sees it and chunks a nade at you, if FF is off you will die the rest will be fine, with FF being on MOST not all but MOST of the time they guy won't sling the nade with all his buddies trying to kick your ***.

Because after a certain number of punishes you get kicked for that round. On most servers it's 3 punishes. I used to play on one that had it set to 6 punishes. I can understand why people get pissed for getting a punish when it was clearly the other person's fault (i.e. running in front of a tank that's cruising full speed). Some people are just stupid and autopunish even if you say sorry, or revive.

I usually wait to see if that player says sorry. That's all I need, no matter whose fault the TK was.

In regards to the OP, I usually play on servers that have FF off because those servers are for potheads. I'd prefer FF on just because it makes sense to have it. However, I do hate the claymore whores when FF is on. I will often run into their claymores.
