1.4 stopped ALOT of ppl from leaving bf2 and i will always be happy for its realease.

I thoroughly concur. 1.3 is why I don't play 2142.

What part of MS are you from? I'm heading down there for xmas to the in-laws.

I don't see very many hacks at all. Sometimes I get killed from a mile away by a pistol while at full health, but I just move on. If there are any, I don't really notice them, I just mow people down, and keep going. Depends on the servers you play on I guess...

For me, I rarely get CTD's after the 1.4 patch.

2142 has more hacks than bf2.

yes 2142 has MUCH MUCH MUCH more hacks and MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH more glitches MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH MORE

I say it is definitely worth to go back.
I think BF2 veterans are starting to play again with new accounts - I see many low ranked players with decent skill.

the SW part of mississippi. i played allittle last night but couldnt really get into it. maybe im just burnt out on the whole BF series lol.

LoL. I got my 2142 key yesterday..and you know what i played bf2. I played 2142 for like half an hour. . . It just sucks. I dont like that future setting at all!

I gave 2142 a shot, I really did. If only in defiance of all those pissy ZOMG boycott teh 2142 whingers. It's a big confusing mess to me, but I understand why people stick with it. It's just not for me, which doesn't neccesarily mean it's a bad game. On the contrary, I'd like the game if it was made a few years down the line with an entirely new engine.

People who deny the overwhelming awesomeness of BF2 are either weakling Maroon 5 fans or transvestites. Of course it's worth coming back.

Well said. I agree with you, I gave BF2142 an honest try, but there's just something about BF2 that draws me into it that BF2142 just couldn't do. Maybe it's the whole future thing they have going? But I enjoyed UT2004 onslaught mode.

I don't think I'll move onto Quake Wars... I've seen footage of it and it looks a lot like BF2142 (and I agree with the conspiracy theory that EA rushed BF2142 to get it out before QW).

I was tired of 2142 after two weeks, and yes, BF2 is worth coming back to. It's ten times better than 2142.

I play bf2142 alot now days although i am enjoying the game very much being a BF2 veteran i do sometimes want to go back and have a play.
