Is Bf2 woth coming back to.

I stopped playing bf2 when bf2142 came out and yes i am tired of 2142 already. So my question is is BF2 worth coming back to. Has anything changed since ive been gone. Is it still fun to play or is it running rampant with hacks.

uh a lot of people dont like patch 1.41 at all. causes a lot of CTDs for some people. but i still love bf2

why did you buy 2142? BF2 FTW.

And why would it be rampant with hacks 2 months after 2142 came out? It's the same as it was when you left.

I got bored of BF2142 quickly too and jumped back to BF2. Yes it's worth it. Patch 1.41 really didn't fix much (no new content/gameplay fixes). BF2 is pretty much the same as it was 2 months ago.

One thing that I did notice was that there is a slight increase in good players/per server now. And by good players, I don't nessicarily mean high rankers. I think its a result of BF2142's release and the hordes of n00bs/stat whores, etc. who followed (along with many good BF2 players).

Just my 2 cents on the matter.

they both are pretty boring unless you find a good server with good people to play. Without that, bf2 is boring just as much as bf2142, least in my opinion

Lol wow how can you say this game is worth comming back to. Of course it is not its the worst battlefield game in the franchise all the people that made it should die (saracism) but really. Its still a piece of ****. Way to many bugs and exploits.

Me and my friends played bf2142 for about 3 weeks and came back to bf2. 2142 SUCKS! H*ll there's only 174 severs running it the last time i checked, i came back to bf2 and there's 800 servers still running the game.

I really don't know what ea was thinking when they decided to make bf2142? Ea needs to come out with REAL war games, not this futuristic crap. If i wanted to play with battlewalkers and hover tanks i'll play starwars.

It would be nice if ea went back to their roots and come out with a new bf1942 or vietnam............Now that would be awesome!
