well I dont play ground alot, there were times when i used to own at infantry but its boring without at least 2 friends playing with you in a squad, I need to give this game a break anyways, the game has been weird lately, nothing works, alot of times when I lock onto another jet I get a connection problem plus I've never been a big fan of dogfighting so thats for jets, ground fighting........well I can do good but alot of times I would get killed in weird ways, I hate armor and now the only thing I like about this game sucks so yea...........a big break for me or prolly quiting forever, depends if EA releases another patch

I hope I dont sound emo but Im serious, nothing but bad games in the last 5 days or so

Im not gonna get mad over these things, Im gonna deal with it the proffesional way

ill only stop for a bit when ParcelForce deliver my Wii and its a day overdue

I cant take this, since this patch came out my missiles have been going through so much, choppers are the only reason why I played BF2 so often and now they are tottaly ****ed up for me, I was able to gun so good in 1.4, I would own some of the best gunners out there but now I get shot down by privates and people with high pings, **** it Im done, I dont think anyone here cares but it would be stupid to leave and not let everyone Ive played with know

signing of, Im officially done with this game for some time, maybe forever

Ill stop by these forums from time to time in case EA releases a new patch and fixes choppers

If it makes you feel any better, half my AT rockets go through you when you're trying to get me, also some rockets go missing when I do fire them, and then they re-appear in my inventory to be fired again..

The team work aspect of this game is what makes it soo much fun. I almost always know everyone in my squad when I'm playing and everyone uses VOIP. It makes the game sooo much more enjoyable.

Also, a very enjoyable way to play the game is to use stealth and guerilla tactics rather than direct engagements. Some of my fondest memories are when my squad takes a flag, then we all back off and let a half dozen enemy players get into radius to take it and then having all of us open fire at the same time! Set traps and try to out think your opponents rather than just being the quicker trigger finger.

I know exactly what you're talking about... The hit boxes have changed, and I've sent so many missles right through the cockpit; it's killing me... But I've found some shots are a lot easier to hit, especialy shooting up or down at the other chopper. It seems like if can get it close to the tail you get the hit, the belly is a huge sweet spot now, it's just those stright on shots that seem to graze the enemy cockpit that giving me a problem. Maybe it's teh drop in FPS that's making it harder to get exact clicks/hits on the last couple of frames. Some people seem to be even better at straight on shots now, so what's up with that?

:laugh: I thought it was just me. I've noticed that Tv missles seem to be passing through the main body of other helicopters. Several times recently I've TV'ed a BH and had it hit square on top of the cabin right on top of the rotor. It looked like a square hit and nothing happened. I have noticed that they do register as hits when you hit them towards the rear, and I've had shots I've thought missed that connected. I always figured it was latency but it's the patch?

Havn't had them reappear but have seen ALOT pass through tanks in the last month or so. If they are supposed to fix stuff with patches how come other stuff gets broken that wasn't before? I also get the sound bug at least once a game where a machine gun fires continually even though there's no one around you.

Ive noticed that TV missles are very hit or miss anymore. Not sure if the hit box is different or what but.... Some games Ill hit everything and then next game I can't hit crap. Like others have stated, head on shots seem to miss more and tail end or shooting from below seem to hit everytime
