Im not stating that the track record of M1 isnt bad, or that US army track record is bad. Far from it.

But that track record comes from fighting mostly obselete or poorly trained (compared to US) opposition. You fight only when youve won, otherwise you defend, yes. But does it mean that US gear is worth the ammount of hype around it? No, not really.

US didnt really do anything to stop a lot of people from talking Russian, now did they?

Theres a lot of nations the allies and US amongst them sold out. So dont feel too proud about your country. Im not anti US, but this kind of bragging isnt really that justified.

Im Ukrainian and Russian by blood, and my ancesters were relatively safe from WW2 and German influence, but from what people around here have said- Germans treated locals way better than Russians, not to mention that we had to live 60 years in regime that ****ed our economy up.

Butcher you really make me laugh. I know you're going to insist that it doesn't matter whether a tank was disabled, but whether a crew member was killed, but that's a very small thing I think compared to what COULD happen.

This guy was extremely lucky to just get a cut in his back instead of being sliced in half. So if I may say so it is quite easy to kill a US crewmember in an M1A2 Abrams tank if you have the weapons that this insurgent have, and we so far have NO idea how they did this.

Who says they aren't only using this weapon as soon as they get it? Anyway the point is from my posts is that yes, the insurgents do have the tools to kill US crewmen. If it can get into the compartment it can kill the men in it.

This thread has gotten rather funny. I havent said anything just been reading. The argument about what the US has done or hasnt done is rather retarded for the simple fact if WE the USA havent of stuck our nose in everyones buisiness for profit or not this world would have been over run by all sorts of chaos. You may say we do it for profit and you are right in alot of cases. BUT you must also realize without us germany and probably half of europe would have been taken over and turned into hitlers little world if it wasnt for us. WE turned the tides NOT your country.. The world today has changed and no other country is willing to stand up and fight regardless of what their intentions are EXCEPT the USA.. I say this because I have faught in the war in iraq I served 15 months over there and 7 years in the army. I watched people from my unit die for their country and the worlds sake. Nobody knows what saddam wouldve done. Started by taking over small countries and who knows maybe later running through europe too.. This argument will never go anywhere.. Europe thinks americans are pieces of **** i see it everyday playing bf2 (rather funny in my eyes) and nothing will change that. I could care less what people say about us one thing i do know is we have freedom. freedom that was earned and fought for. We dont have a communist country we arented 2nd or 3rd world. We live comfortably and work hard for our money. This country IS BY FAR the best country ive ever lived in. And ive lived in 7 including germany and italy france canada korea and japan. Flame this country and what we stand for and what we do for the world all you want but the fact will always remain WE BAIL THE WORLD OUT OF TROUBLE you dont dont bail us out of ****.
