PRM is great especially with .5 hopefully about to be released, PoE2 is pretty good too though.

So, if vanilla has too many kids simply playing games for fun, I wonder if the reason more of them aren't downloading and installing mods to play is that they simply don't have Admin rights at that computer as are too young to be trusted to install anything on them, lol!

To try and answer the thread starters question without reverting to fanboi statistical slanging, Try them both see which one suits your gameplay style.

In my own opinion after a 6month break from vBF2 i downloaded and tried PR and its got me addicted again (my GF wishes you dead PR Devs :), and just recently downloaded POE as i heard it had more full servers, unfortunatly at that time (last week) i could only find a few people playing.
With PR there is always about 10 servers running with at least 1 64man full (Thors) and recently another one has started to fill.

As for gameplay, PR is pretty intense in that your life online has some meaning with 1 or 2 shot kills quite common, the flags are also captured in a set order which intensifies the battles as 32 each side meet head on to obtain objectives, not to mention the new weapons, vehicles and British skins.
Also with the .5 update coming out they are promising even more radical new changes to the gameplay which basically sound like what i always wanted as a realistic battle simulation.

With POE there are a huge selection of new maps, weapons, factions and vehicles the flag system is the same as vBf2 as is pretty much the rest of the mod (In my opinion) which unfortunatly in my case just made it a fancier vBf2, pretty much what i would expect BF2 to look like after dice released a couple more expansions.After a couple of rounds i was bored again which is unfortunate as it looks, graphically, very nice.

So there you go, as always a game only appeals to your own particular game style, download both and try them. The Modding community needs all the support it can muster.

Well, Project Reality just had over one thousand (1,000) players on at the same time moments ago.

Umm well The sandbox mod is fun..but if you want a more action---Project Reality is the way to go


For some people(like me) PoE2 wont even work it will crash. N00bs that love PoE2 s*ck me

I've been a bit of a traitor to POE since PR.1.5 was released and is currently the flavour of the month, I love the map Muttra City and have been playing it constantly, would love to play 64 player Al Basrah but UK servers don't seem to run it - I know it's a bit laggy atm..

Though no doubt when the POE team get their act together with the next release i'll be back in a flash. seems to be only so many people prepared to play mods and not enough to go round everyone at the same time.

Hey people, I notice people are talking about mods a lot. i was wondering which one i should download. I want too download a mod that has people playing it .So if i feel like playing it i can find a server with a good number of people playing it.

Uh..and you quoting the original poster to then say this was for what reason?

Is it short-bus season?

Next time, please have something constructive to add to the thread......would definitely help some of us who are looking into the MOD scene.......(like the OP)......
