This is getting ridiculous.

Nearly every server I join is infested with Snipers.

Here's a tip.

If you are dying more than you are killing, you are not doing your job. Switch to another kit.

It's almost impossible to play with all the Snipers runing around, thinking they're hot ****.

Anyone else notice this?

I only hate snipers coz of claymores, sneak up on them, say "enemy boat spotted" to make them turn arround and knife\paddle them

there appears to be a serious bias towards the l33t (ahem bu****it) sniper kit these days. it seems we have the enigmatic player, the lone wolf, the sniper. the only worse thing than a sniper is an 'ex' sniper. yeh thay may have changed kit but they still forgot to help their team and will under all circumstances proceed to camp any available roof that will ensure 4 random kills in the whole round. its funny how they know to run around and throw (spam spam spam) claymores in highly thought out strategic positions (see nearest flagpole) but when the day comes they realise other kits are pretty damn handy......can they throw a med bag or ammo pack......i didnt think so.

usually i can sit on the same rooftop on mashtuur, done it a few times without dieing and being near the top end of round

i do notice some novices appearing a few times its quite funny watching them 1; trying to find me, 2; trying to kill me something i get a kick out of

I hate all people with sniper in their name. Whether it's L33T_SNIP3R_69 or SnIP3-M4570r or whatever, they tend to be crap players and crap people, and I want them to go away. I don't feel the need to call myself leet-69BIG-ANTITANK-****666-christ, what's the point?

I have noticed a shift towards people playing sniper as well. That is the kit i like to use though and have been using it for a long time. I consider myself a decent sniper and have done well many times. There are times when I will place myself in a strategic location and get a few kills, but mostly I go for flags and try to cap them. This is when I will lay a few claymores down to protect myself as I am taking a flag. I always join a squad or I become a squad leader. Being a lone wolf was something I did when I first got the game and didnt know much about BF2.

The thing I hate most about Snipers is their god damn claymores stick around for a while, even after they've been dead.

same here im a sniper most of the time,and i do a dam good job of helping my squad.

i cap flags,defend flags,kill snipers noob or l337.

snipers are easy to kill up close,if you have a good aim.

i do play other kits medic now and then,but for me i personaly love the l96a1.

67 kills iar is my best and not easy.

a noob sniper is nothing to worry about,its the good ones you need to stay away from :)

as a sniper you have the power to help you team,with steath,good aim and being a good squad leader.

from help in squad tactics from this forum i always name my squad teamwork,and spot target's,give a good safe spawn point.

and soften up enemy so my squad can take them out easyer.
and of course counter snipe enemy snipers.

no doubt there will be a few servers full of wanna be snipers.

but i to was a wanabe when i 1st started,you got to learn somewhere :)

With sniper its the most thankless job in the whole game. I cant even count how many lifes I have saved without anybody knowing that I saved there lifes. From people putting C4 on tanks, to the enemy flanking our infantry.

LOL? I don't know how many times my AK101 or M16 has saved the lives of tankers and flankers (hey, a rhyme! :O)

You know, you don't need a big fat crosshair and 10X zoom to kill a target. You don't need to be 500m away in the first place to stop said enemy planting C4.
