The total distance a TV missle can travel is exactly three feet short of that enemy chopper off in the distance.

the amount of times ive had the tv missile blow up just before it hit the enemy chopper.......

its just one of those things... nubs whine cos they die from something.. it gets nerfed.. and it ****s it up for those players that used the missile properly.

jeep 50cals are able to bone you as you have to get too close to shoot at them.

Hmm, I don't think so. But the Mi-28 is buggy on Sharqi. I think there is 470 m. or something to TV station from MEC heli pad.?

well it doesnt seem that anyone would really want a realism TRUE version of BF2. Sniping with a tv missile is just toooo good

Realism still requires a four year commitment and a rather stylish haircut once you get to boot camp.

Try it. Pull the Havok onto the little ridge in front of the helipad until the TV has a clear shot and it's aiming high enough to maneuver. You can take out the Cobra at will. Same with the Cobra. Turn left and land on the edge of the wall where your TV has LOS. The missiles can hit everything on that uncap. I sometimes take out the AA and the Havok before going over there and nailing everyone waiting for the Havok.

One year enlistments are possible now. You won't be flying a Cobra unless you sign up to be a flight warrant and do that training, though. Those MOSs require a little bit more time.

I wasn't referring to that. What I meant was that he said he wanted figures to be a little more realistic, that 400m was too much of a rounded figure. Ignoring the fact that it is inaccurate in terms of the real range of TV-guided missles, there is no difference in terms of 'realism' between 400 and 401m. It just 'looks' like it is.
