Its 450 metres. STA distance is 375 metres.

Depends how you navigate it

Lots of fixes and changes of direction will shorten the life, so 400 meters will only apply if you were to shoot it and leave it going.

If you shoot at a target, and you let the TV fly on its own and make corrections at last second, you going to reach further than if you start correcting early on.

The total distance a TV missle can travel is exactly three feet short of that enemy chopper off in the distance.

lol... when i TV guide i just use 400 as the general rule... it doesnt seem that much more than that tbh

Well then they'd have to make everything else realistic..ie: Rockets blowing it up instantly...aircraft cannons being even more devastating against them...50 cal machine guns being even more devastating. But i'm guessing you wouldn't want that would you?

It's NOT 400 m.
It's 450m; I've tested over and over.

You can eke out more...... my longest shot (I measured it up with BR and all) was a solo switch for about 497 feet. The usual cap is 450, and most people lose out at 400 cause they click too much. However if you shoot one straight shot and switch to pilot (solo) before it hits it stretches for longer.

-Not quite true. This is a straight spot when you are in a gunner's seat. Fire your TV at the base of a flag over 450 (so you know how long). Switch to pilot before the missile hits and fly over. You will see (if good graphics) a big black splotch on the ground!
