Nope I've used Blue but the sky eh. Now I use Yellow (Re-install BF2) but I'll change it to Purple since I constantly want my game to look different , lol :)

O sure, that's gonna do a great deal on hmmmmmm lemme think; Daqing, Dalian, wake, kubra. Seriously though, why use a crosshair with no sense of contrast to the terrain of the maps? Purple/pink are probably the most effective shades in a universal sense.

Whiteish blue. I change to something different when I need contrast. Just a nice crosshair I got used to while playing SWAT4.
