I sometimes wonder what's in the mind of most BF2 players. I'm not a psychologist or anything, but I just wonder..... Why do they do the things they do.
These two scenarios happen ALL THE TIME, over and over agian, every game I play:
1: I go to a flag, any flag, doesn't matter. See an enemy, and totally obliterate him. It usually doen't matter what rank he is, skill level, whatever. I kill the guy. If I kill him before capping the flag, he'll respawn in the flag radius to go after me. I usually kill that person again, and again, if flag isn't capped yet, he'll respawn, DEAD SET on killing me, usually only to get killed again. If I do get the flag capped, he'll spawn at the closest base and make his way to come kill me, totally disregarding any team goals. This process will usually be repeated in infinity, or until the guy has too far to walk or has no vehicles to get to me. It happens so much, I start preying on these guys and rack up the kills.
2: I'm in AAV, usually Kubra Damn or Dragon Valley. Lots of tanks and APC's around. I'm shooting down choppers and jets left an right. The tanks and APC's hardly ever attack or come after me. What does? The two things I"m designed to destroy, choppers and jets. WHY oh why do chopper and jet pilots feel it's thier duty to take out the AAV? I'm not complaining, mind you, cuz they usually end up as easy prey. But why do they always come after the one thing that can shoot them down?
I just wonder about things like that. Some players are just dumb I guess. Some have no concept of team play I guess. Who knows. Any psychologists out there?
