Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
Agreed, but without the "spam items" (grenades), how are you going to break up an entrenched group of medics? 2 claymores at the flag, and then sitting back and waiting for the medics to rush in with their paddles up and their pants down...
...and then 'nading the lot, F-T-W.
(Maybe polish off any survivors with the sniper rifle.)
As I had posted earlier, I'm not against nades or claymores. They just need a delay inbetween the throwing/deployment of each. That way you still have them, but you can't spam them.
They need to make it so there is a 10 second wait in between grenades thrown. Like the first one throws instantly, but then you have to "recharge"... etc. You know what I mean.. that should help spamming.
And IMO claymores need to disappear after the sniper dies. Snipers are running into the middle of the battle to drop 2 claymores down for a sure 2 kills...
I think if the claymores just disappeared when they died.... if they drop a claymore right in front of you, you can just kill them, and then you're free to go. The current situation is just bull $hit.

I am all for getting some more realism if such a thing exists in a warsim. But nerfing the game anymore would turn away some of the fanbase as it all ready has done in the past patches/nerves.
As things are now everybody has an equal opppurtunity to use nades/claymores and stuff. THe way you use them is up to you. If you want to spam or not is also your own decision. If you see some alley getting spammed with nades just dont go in there. Flank and take out the spammer. And use some teamwork while doing so.
Well....I think that is just idiocy, if you are getting shot at you should shoot back...however, some people in IO mode just use the nades, and not much else ever. Just look at the guy that is shooting up the leaderboards, look at his nade kills compared to his weapon kills: http://bf2s.com/player/67382006/
*edit* Not talking smack to this guy, I have actually played with him, and hes a great guy to squad up with, works very well.
If I am on your team, and I see you spamming grenades, I will spend the rest of the round TK'ing you.
I hate the ****ers who do that.
BF2 is so ****ing low right now it's insane. It's not even fun.
On the ground, you have ****ing grenades going off constantly ALL over the map EVERYWHERE, with a claymore around every corner, and there are also ****ing hackers all over the place...
And then in the air, the J-10 is still as powerful as it is.
I'm about to just stop playing this damn game, because ever since 1.41, there are half 1.4 servers and half 1.41.
It was bad enough before when you'd occasionally encounter one of the few grenade spammers, like Volx for example, but after the 1.4 patch and IO mode it really did get quite bad. At any given time on an IO server it's almost guaranteed that 30% or more of the players in game will be playing Support and grenade spamming. Most of those guys won't even fire their gun when engaged in CQC, they'll just start dropping grenades at their feet. It's made even worse on IO servers with FF off. The number of grenade spammers increases dramatically as their are no penalties for throwing grenades directly into the middle of any firefight since they can't injure any teammates.
I'm really hoping for a 1-grenade IO change, but I doubt we'll ever see that implemented.

calm down my friend. atleast you have the option to fly, and quite well from what i hear. im a groundpounder or tanker. if i get lucky a helo guner, maybe. truse me metallica, i feel your pain. nades are bad enough, but add in the CAL-like players who feel obligated to demonstrate their diving skills and you have a frustrating combo that you can do nothing about. oh well, atleast there are plenty of city map servers to choose from.
People spam grenades because they go where you want them to. There have been too many times I have fired an AK 101 burst into someone's face only to see the wall behind them or their face explode in dust clouds and they turn around, prone-roll, insta-headshot. A grenade wipes the smile off their faces much mo' betta.
People having problems with nades spammers need to move forward. I can't tell you how many times my team has stopped to engage the enemy. Then they all catch nades in their face. I see it all the time. I am running with some teammates and we see some enemy, (in IO mode btw) they all stop. I keep moving forward and kill a few nade spammers with nades in their hand. Then I die and see my team still in the same spot they were catching nades. Charging and moving foward is a great way to deal with nade spammers. But few people do it.
