I stopped playing BF2 for about two months then came back this week, and my god, I see nades everywhere. Where people should shoot someone, they ACTUALLY TAKE OUT A NADE and throw it INSTEAD OF SHOOTING! Whats the point of all these nades?

Well....I think that is just idiocy, if you are getting shot at you should shoot back...however, some people in IO mode just use the nades, and not much else ever. Just look at the guy that is shooting up the leaderboards, look at his nade kills compared to his weapon kills: http://bf2s.com/player/67382006/

neone starts throwing grenades i run straight at them, if they get me they take emselves as well. i do think the nades shud be reduced though, thats a LOT of grenades, though in the end that would just lead to more points for support guys dropping more packs...Comment

It's funny I went through the same thing last night on a I/O Karkand server.
My goodness so many nades....oh so many. Surprisingly I was only killed twice by nades...the rest was from the support guys... who were supplying the nades.
I must say it does make for a pretty cool battle scene... nades..shaking... all over the place...
Still it does get a bit annoying...though I've been known to throw nade after nade so I can't jump up on my high horse.
I was a DOD addict for years and I was constantly accused of nade whoring even though the max nades you got was 2.Comment

Nades don't miss much, and their splash radius makes it worthwhile.
Rather than engage you in a firefight, as you struggle to hit them with your rubber bullets, all they have to do is bunnyhop and toss you a nade. done.
I've even had guys charging my position, into my bullets, throwing nades... Cause itworks.Comment
