I'm with 2n-Irish... Use you mic. I often explain to commanders what I see, and wht they're not seeing or telling us. As a squad leader, I always talk to the commander (usually to beg for spotting or supplies). But if he's oblivious I just spot the target I want, and specify attack there, so the commander can see where I'm going. As commander I rarely direct squads specifically by designating targets (except noobs who race to North instead of Wind Farm in Smoke Screen), so I know I miss a bunch of points. I talk to all the squads at the same time and tell them where the enemy is and will soon be, and let them pick their own targets for their squads. Most squad fighters can do outstanding if you just give them good intel and a little support, like spotting jets, armor, and AA.
