Re: Why PRMM is the best mod.
Teamwork in vBF2 is virtually non existant.
Join any PR server you please, and you will notice several full or almost-full squads. Most, if not all squads will use VoIP to communicate. In addition, most Squad Leaders will issue orders and relay information from the Coammander. As well, almost everybody in your squad will be willing to follow orders, and cover your ***.
Yesterday on Jalabad (even though I hate any vBF2 maps played in PR) I had an awesome round. I didn't get a high score, I didn't kill more than 5 people, but it was still one of the best online gaming experiences ever.
My squad and I would move together, and my SL and I would set up on two mounted .50 cal's, as another squad member would patrol the area in a tank.
When was the last time you actually set up defensive positions on BF2? When was the last time you actually patrolled a certain area to remove it of any threats? When was the last time you actually crawled over 500m in the grass on a desnse jungle map with a full squad instead of sprinting through the jungle like an elephant, in fear of getting shot? When was the last time you and your squad feared corssing a street because there could possibly be a .50 cal or sniper waiting?
All of these are common occurences in any public server you join.
