Which is better 8800 GTX or X1950XTX

Hi I am about to buy a PC and have two cards in mind

Nvidia GeForce 8800GTX (640) Directx 10

or

Ati Radeon X1950XTX (512)

The PC is about the same price with either card so I am just looking for which one provides the best game performance.

8800GTX, higher clock and memory speed, HUGH memory interface plus a nice honkin fan right on it to keep it cool.
if you said radeon uninstall bf2 now.

I have a question for everyone who has posted here.
Are you saying that the 8800GTX is just UBER good cuz its really expensive?
Or do you actually know for a fact its very good and fast because you know the specs and you know what each of the spec does?

the benches out show that the 8800 gtx kills all other cards, as it should being a dx10 card. some of the benches ive seen show it beating 2 x1950's in crossfire

Obviously you have been out-of-the-loop buddy. The 8800GTX is leaps and bounds ahead of the 1950, both in speed and image quality. I'm sorry but the only area where the 1950 competes is in price.
