1 hit K.O. Knife

Why won't the knife always be a 1 hit KO no matter where you hit them. Seeing how hard it is get up close to someone.
It just gets me so pissed off when im running at some guy from a distance curving and swirlving left to right taking slight damages huffing and puffing that i survived that and then jump dive and stab his mofo in the eyes only to see smoke and then he kills me... That is sooo bull working so hard to stay alive only to be F'ed up by EA!

I think it is 1 hit to kill with a knife, it's just bad hit detection on BF2 that's showing the dust puff, happens with all weapons.

I prefer to use the knife when there back is facing you. Its always 1 hit for me or when they are proning.

You have to be a sneeky bugger to get knife kills.
Make sure the cross hairs are on your intended victim and stab.
By the time you get your basic knife badge, you should be getting the hang of it.(It took me 53 kills and a lot more deaths to finally get it. Even better was that it was the last kill to finish the game)

i always thought knife kills where easy :/ ijust go to the MEC main by main enterance, and knife all the snipers

I love the Bf2 knife, its always a roll of the dice if its gonna puff smoke or hit.

If Im sneaking up on a guy I have a better chance, cause I usually have time for a second stab. But maybe a 1/3 of the time when Im running it fails.

Im sure it was addressed as being better in 2142 and future patches...no luck yet for eithier.

it makes it so much harder to kill with that knife now... but most of the time i can still get in 2 stabs before he can kill me. just go for the legs :)

i feel like im experiencing the same thing where i knife someone and see some dust come out and then they dont die. ( i think the puff couldve been from a bulelt from smewhere else tho)

this wierd thing happend to me once. one time while on wake, i was chasing and at the same time knifed this sniper around 8 times and the puff keeps comin out but that piece of *** just wouldnt die, in the end i was killed by a grenade and the killer got a teamkill to.:laugh:

I know that knifing is easy from being sneaky and stuff, but im talking more about EA f-ing me over in times of desperate needs like the example I already wrote. Very bogus when you get messed over like that when you are trying so hard to live.

knife fights is your problem. i think they are dumb to begin with, you have guns to kill people. i recommend only knifing when sneaking up on someone. but yeah its always one hit
