Good for you but prepare for many a frustrating time lol, especially when they dont show up! (had to earn expert air and ground defense twice each, vetran transport 3 times, veteran explosives twice).

Here's an idea. Don't try to pad your way to the badge and use the damn Mobile AA gun instead. C'mon, it's really easy on Dragon Valley to get that badge plus if you clean the skies with it, it will help your team WIN!

Padding? It's not padding, its the easy way out. And I really don't care, those AA's are nerfed as hell on infantry. Also can't even drive the MEC one cuz u can only see the turret and have no clue which way the tracks are pointed without changing views.

Padding padding padding. Period. If youre not doing your work towards the badge how its meant to be done, youre padding. No different than the old knife-your friend-and-revive trick.

I got mine on Kubra, Linebacker love. Had to pick a low pinged server though.

Oh it's padding all right. But seriously, this is not that hard to get legit. It's not explosives ordinance. I got mine while I was trying to pilot a chopper. The bastards on the other team raping my pad and shooting me down every five seconds pissed me off so much I grabbed a mobile AA and got some payback. Yeah, I'm good with the AA, so I just wanted them to take up another sport other than flying so I could get back to working on my pilots license in the chopper. I was motivated to keep the sky clear and before I knew it, the drum roll was going off.

Mobile AA might be the most fun piece of armor and who doesn't just love shooting down those "leet in their own minds" pilots.

Let me make sure I've got this straight........... Artillery kills while sitting in a Stinger counts as stat padding. Mowing down infantry from a Linebacker is NOT stat padding. Got it.

Killing infantry with a Linebacker doesnt mean the Linebacker is being misused. Sitting in commander screen, dropping arty, NOT using the STA to gain certain badge is stat padding.

Ok so hang on.......being a good commander and dropping artillery, supplies, UAV and spotting the enemy is ok so long as you lay on the floor 20 yards away from the AA, but if you sit in the AA protecting your assets from the other team flying over in their trusty helicopter to take out your heli before it has taken off while still doing your job as commander is padding!!!!!!!!!!

Are you mental??!! it's called LATERAL thinking!!......stat padding would be denying a team member from using the AA because i was in it purely to get the badge while going commander, at no point did anyone try to get in it, go anywhere near it, and the only people that spawned were there for the heli...and yes i did take a few shots at the other teams heli while it was trying to base rape our uncap.

I don't think i could care any less if i tried to be honest.

If you think im padding then thats up too you. If you wanna run round like a mentalist trying to get the expert air defense the hard way (and it's been proven it doesnt always register when you do) then thats up to you aswell, i very very rarely play maps with planes, heli's in them, only got the basic badges for both plane and heli, not my forte.

Either you've contradicted yourself or you're expecting the commander to jump in to the AA, protect whatever it is they're protecting, jump out and drop artillery then jump back in awaiting further attack??

Wouldn't change a thing you said. Agree 100%. I was doing all the stuff a normal commander would do(accepting all requests, spotting infantry, all that crap). I wasn't just sitting in the AA bombing the heck out of people. And yeah, WTF is the difference between me sitting on the ground doing artillery than sitting in a vehicle? A lot of commanders I see sit in tanks for the duration of the round. Also, what your saying is if i have no intentions of getting a badge(say i receive veteran air defense) and im in the thing the whole round as commander, plant artilleries, get the badge, its considered STAT PADDING? Give me a mfking break dude. EA ****** themselves by not making a patch that stops all forms of "stats padding", and also this supposedly "cheap" way of obtaining awards. IMO, its all legit, and I will continue to use this method for any other badges I may need/want. You can call it stat padding or whatever the hell you want, but your not going to stop me from doing it.:laugh:

Got mine the hard way on Kubra playing USMC in a linebacker.

Once those jets and helos start falling, it is like dominoes.
