Expert Air Defense

Alright so today I was playing, became commander, and sat in a Linebacker for the whole round for the purpose of getting my expert air defense badge(I have my veterans). I got OVER 20 kills in 2 seperate rounds using artillery and never received any indication that I had gotten the badge. On bf2s, it says IAR 20 kills in stinger/aa vehicle. Is a Linebacker not a AA vehicle, or am i getting jipped? Thanks and sorry for this stupidish question.:evil:

Not sure, i got mine by going on Sharqi as commander and sitting at the bottom unlockable where the satellite and UAV dish are, go into the air defense guns and start dropping artillery, got basic, expert and veteran within 3 days of each other:)

I got all of them on Sharqi arting up the survelience post, pure pawnage.

Nope. I got mine the right way in the MEC AA on Kubra. I parked on the backside of a hill and nailed people as they passed. Once the commander realized how well entrenched I was he dropped supplies to help me out. I ended up getting 30 kills that round. Also, remember that it doesn't have to be aircraft kills to get the badge. Taking out squishies counts, too.

I got Veteran on Daqing Oilfields killing Squishies and a couple planes.

Here's an idea. Don't try to pad your way to the badge and use the damn Mobile AA gun instead. C'mon, it's really easy on Dragon Valley to get that badge plus if you clean the skies with it, it will help your team WIN!

Good for you but prepare for many a frustrating time lol, especially when they dont show up! (had to earn expert air and ground defense twice each, vetran transport 3 times, veteran explosives twice).

Here's an idea. Don't try to pad your way to the badge and use the damn Mobile AA gun instead. C'mon, it's really easy on Dragon Valley to get that badge plus if you clean the skies with it, it will help your team WIN!

sitting in the china mobile AA behind the temple, you catch all the planes/helis as they come around but they dont spot you ^^
