If its MP5 vs M4A1 for CQB, I would pick MP5. I aim for the head, and the bullet deviation is or seems smaller than the M4A1s, but the ROF punches out more bullets, which results in a dead enemy. The only problem is fighting against weapons that deal 1 shot headkills.Comment

M4 is better in CQB. MP5 has 50% higher RoF but M4 does >50% more damage per round so it balances out. M4's far better accuracy gives it the win.
The P90 is only very slightly more accurate than the MP5; its major advantage is the larger mag. DAO-12 beats everything in CQB.Comment

All the SMGs are pretty much identical except for ammo capacity (and the P90's small acc advantage). The 45- and 50-round mags could make the difference when you run into multiple enemies.Originally posted by CromatComment

mp5 with high rate of fire downs enemy faster than the m4 in my opinion, well where i play no one ever proved me wrong... and if ur not convinced i play at moders karkand, go and check it out urself.Comment

Like Redfield said. For CQB MP5. And since your enemy is armored, and in real life if you have info that the asailant has armor, you will go in doing headshots. And that's how special teams are trained with the MP5 headshots nice and fast.Comment

Last night I pulled out the G36C for the first time in months, after teaching myself to be almost snipe accurate w/ the RPK-74 using the G36C was ridiculusly easy, I was winning prone wars against PKM's w/ astonishing regularity
W/ the F2000, or the M4 I had to break myself of the habit of proning so as to not get pwned by support players w/ PKM's
@ medium range the G36C's accuracy > than the PKM's power, & the sight picture is wonderful to me
It is kinda' like a G36E w/ full auto

The same conditions I posted earlier about the P90 apply to the MP7: it has a very slight accuracy advantage and more rounds in the mag. P90>MP7>MP5 but that's not saying much. The SMGs are much better than they were in v1.00 but they still can't match a shotgun or assault rifle in CQB and can't match much of anything at longer ranges except shotguns.Originally posted by SERIALBUTCHERComment

My point is you still should not insta-prone against a PKM, but I still do it out of habit because I play support a lot, but after making this usually fatal error I still came out on top most of the time, in sitiations where if I were playing assault I don't think I would have prevailed, & I didn't have to concentrate hard on aiming, just point it @ their head, & pull the trigger
