M16 has a much tighter reticle at a stand-still, and recovers and keeps a tight reticle much better then the AK. In iron sight mode, the sight is frecken' bulky, and it's easy to lose a target at any range. I've found it much more effective, as other testimonies on this thread have stated, to not even use iron sight. It's much more effective just using the reticle. Even at longer range, it's still about as accurate as iron sight, without losing your awareness around the reticle. Did notice that bullet drop doesn't seem to be that bad on M16, though. Actually had better luck aiming at the stomach at distance, instead at the head to get a chest shot. Seems to lift at about 100-150 meters. Found 3-round burst to be more effective at distance, then single shot. M16 is absolute crap on power. About a 2 to 1 hit ratio vs. the AK.

On the other foot, the AK47 is a horrid, horrid weapon with it's plain targeting reticle in anything but CQB. The bullets actually seem to go to the right upper corner of the targeting reticle, instead of straight down the middle, and the reticule's default is much looser then M16's, and loses it much faster, recovering slower. Bullet drop seems to be much more substantial on AK, with having to fire over people's heads at longer range to get hits, whereas M16 seems to actually lift up at that range. At distance, with iron sights, single shot with a AK is murder. You can take people down with 3 rounds, whereas M16 requires almost 6. It is definetly the best CQB rifle, with excellent power, but you have absolutely no accuracy in reticle mode at any distance over about 50 meters. Firing at over 100-150 meters in bursts or automatic is just a waste of ammo. The first round will prolly hit, but recoil will send the rest all over the place. Single shot is where it's at at long distance. More of a stationary sniping weapon, that you can bring indoors, whereas M16 is a weapon you can run and gun with, but you'll get pwned if you go indoors with.
Actually the AK-47 is nearly identical to the AK-101, slightly different standing, crouch and prone deviances. I prefer it over the 101 or the m16. It is also insanely accurate at medium range. The m16 is more powerful at range then EITHER AK. It is also more accurate on single shot. You really need to learn how to fire weapons if you think it sucks.

I tried it a number of times in iron-sight and reticule fire at long range. I still feel like it took more ammo to achieve kills with M16, then AK at distance with single shot. In burst-fire, M16 does get more hits at distance, but bullet-for-bullet, it took much less in my testing with a AK then with a M16.

I do believe this was because it was actually more benefecial to fire in reticule with M16, then in iron sight, which causes more inaccuracy, then it is to use the more pinpoint irons on AK, over the horrible reticule.

I'm sure you could use iron sights all the time on M16, but it seems like a waste of effort, given how easy it is to get out of a M16's iron sights, what with how bulky the irons are compared to AK. Was getting annoyed at the bots I was using for target practice, because they'd duck down, or jink just a little, and i'd have to resight.

I still don't understand why the U.S. military insists on peephole sights.

Sorry I exposed you Saluca but I know at this point you're feeling rather vulnerable and foolish.

Tell you what.. if you can give me a logical reason that when you went down to revive a player you spammed Clear! 6 times I'll take your word that you weren't using macros. I know why you spammed them and that's simply because you couldn't help it. Any competent player who has spent more than a couple hours on the medic knows that rapidly spamming paddles can result in them seizing up and delaying the recharge animation. It isn't difficult to point at your revive target and click *once* and since nothing is gained by spamming the paddles please tell me why you did so.

OMG! Last night we had a commander that was spamming the spotted button.
I thought he was playing with our nerves and after a while I made myself squad leader and yelled at him to shut the f*ck up!
After that, the poor guy just left the game… How was I supposed to know it’s a bug?!
Hey m8, if you read this, I’m sorry I yelled at you. Come back, will you?

              You're not getting it Saluca.

But just to put the nail in the coffin I decided to go hunt down that autofire script and run it to compare with your video. It decided not to work with my new mouse but after a couple edits I got it functioning and recorded a quick video in single player.

              http://media.putfile.com/Saluca-Cheats

Compare this with Saluca's videos and behaviors and you'll see the blatent autofire script Saluca is using.

Things to keep an eye out for:

Steady rapid fire with single shot on the rifle

Steady rapid fire with the pistol

When reviving while having the autofire turned on it is absolutely identical to Saluca. A single click with the script on for a revive with generate a Clear! Recharging message which is very difficult to do without the script. Normal revive function will create a single Clear! message and will not break the paddles and create the Clear! spam.

All of these things can be seen again and again in the first video. I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that Saluca is using an autofire script and I'm an old school FPS gamer who has dealt with cheaters for years and has out of necessity attuned myself to spotting them. Autofire script is virtually impossible to detect unless they've recorded a video which Saluca so kindly has.
