    That is true, but valve use steam as an updating device, so that must mean it's a lot easier for them to update clients... or am I talking rubbish?

        Steam is like EA downloader except it's not complete crap like EAD. It works, doesn't erase your purchases, isn't slow, and isn't infected with EAitis.
