Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
Is that up there with you being a REAL Army Ranger on a post that doesn't have a Ranger Unit, and run when someone asks you to answer a few questions every Ranger will know?
Sorry for the thread Hijack - Back to the thread
I play sniper quite a bit. I have noticed that many times a flag will be empty, I mean no-one is around at all, I'll get out of my cover and go down to cap the flag. When I get into the flag cap area, I will place clayores to catch anyone sneaking up on me. After the flag is captured I move back to my cover area and watch the flag. When some one comes to recap it they either get a round to the head, or a claymore. If it was possible to pick the claymores back up I would. I would feel better with my back covered, not with the claymores sitting where they will do me no good.
I will also place then in front of me if I am on a hill, I'll take a shot and hit some one, then switch to pistol and finish them, then throw a grenade to lure the squad to my Claymores. Take a shot or 2 while they are on their way. Some times it works, sometimes it doesn't, but with a 60% hit ratio I will keep at it.
didnt run off, I found bigger fish to fry, and no, my stats arnt nearly as good as Jemme101, but still bettter than that guys friend.
WHY.... why... do snipers run in to the middle of the action, spam their 2 claymores KNOWING they are going to die, and then as they are running away they throw their grenades until they die.. SO annoying.
Because doing that works. Plain and simple. You can shoot forever with the sniper weapon, getting the occassional kill (without feedback if you hit anyone or not), or you can charge and get your wacky kills.
I've had snipers run into my bullets, somehow live long enough to kill me, and get away, killing other teammates with their dropped claymores.
IMO, this is ********. A sniper should have NO ARMOR at all, and should die instantly. Yet, somehow BF2 allows them to charge my PKM implacement taking damage, yet still living.
well, pkm fires 7.62, so does the svd and m24. Those dont get one shot kills and you have a full auto, so if your dieing when I sniper charges you, just stop playing...

not only that you dont know how to use the pkm, you clearly dont know that if you holddown ur mousebotton 1 after firing, if u did connect with the target then you will see an "x" where ur cross hair is.
if ur blasting ur pkm away on full-auto and the sniper charges u and still manages to kill u via knife or what not shows that he is clearly more skillfull than yourself. if hes charging and u are blasting and you die then that means hes NOT taking damage at all since if u did connect then he would drop with 1burst, 2 bursts MAX.

Except the PKM and the SVD use a different 7.62 round to the M24.
The M24 uses a 7.62x51mm NATO round, while the Com Block SVD and PKM use the 7,62x54mm Rimmed round, which incidently packs more of a punch than the NATO round.
