OK - I am trying to get VOIP to work. I have a Logitech headset and it works fine when I test it in the control panel on my Dell Dimension 8300. Then I go into game and try and test it in the audio options - enable mic boost etc. Nothing. I really thought patch 1.4 might solve this but no luck. Any ideas?

Re: VOIP and headsets
i'm lost too! tried the suggestions and they dont work for me. Does anyone have an idiots guide to how to get VOIP to work in BF2 as this is clearly not an issue with the headset.
Anyone got any ideas? I her so few games with VOIP going that it must be a big issue for a lot of people. I know if I had this working I would use it all the time. Any other suggestions from anyone?Comment

Re: VOIP and headsets
Same boat here. Logitec USB 350. Works fine in winows but bupkis in BF2. I'm fighting with EA at the moment and was hoping you folks would have it figured out before them. If EA figures it out and it works i'll be sure to pass along the info.Comment

Re: VOIP and headsets
I had issues at one time (as did about three others in my clan). I accidentally did this, forwarded it to them and then all of us were running fine.
Go into game voice control area.
Turn off the VOIP. Hit apply.
Turn on the VOIP. Hit apply.
Suddenly, test and game worked fine. I hope this works for you guys.

Simon, unfortunately no such luck for me.
Munk, is your bluetooth setup USB? If it is there has to be something in the setup that we're missing. Thanks in advance.Comment

Re: VOIP and headsets
EA is ignoring me now, my mic still dont work, their tech support is crap, and i'm gonna have to buy an analog headset now, which I should have done in the 1st place. BUT, I will keep bugging EA about this problem since I spent $50 on the USB HS.Comment
