Frankly, after 1500+ rounds of this game, I have only seen one person who is 'suspicious' of being a 'hacker' in any way, and thats only because he head-shotted multiple people in multiple successive (Non-missing) shots at 150-200m range with the USMC M11-87. (An impossible feat due to range based damage reduction on shotties, not to mention the spreading effect of shotgun pellets.)

If you're the one doing the accuastion, you damn well better have some good reasoning, and some proof to back up your accusations before you sully somebody's name.

This hack sounds very much like a hack reported recently on another forum I frequent, only this guy was using the DAO.

You don't need good evidence. What you do need is contact details for the admins, call them into the game with the details and they can decide themselves by taking PB screens etc.

This is exactly how I got a cheat banned on wednesday night. The admins joined in and did their thing, with clinical efficiency.

If you suspect a player watch them in spectator mode. If their aim is "ballistic" (directly from one target to another in the blink of an eye) then odds are they're using an aimbot.

If they spawn way behind friendly lines to take out a target without UAV or spots then suspect them.

Frankly I find this game to be such a big Rush on the rare occaisions I just kick but. Doesnt everyone else when they kick?
Yes I have a bag of tricks but all the tricky things I do working within the game as it was written. A good example is how I like to kill the enemy attack chopper when Im in a tank. If you park as close as you can to a tall building they can only attack from the front of the building. Most attack choppers like to come in low but just high enough so you cant point the main gun at them. Parking on a incline (hill side) faceing up hill gets rid of this problem. There are at least 3 such places on the Sharqi map. Thats just one of the tricks I use but all the tricks work useing the game the way it was made, no hacks needed. Of course there is a little more to the tank trick than that but still no hacks or cheating.
The people who do cheat are missing this part of the game. Why they dont realize this Ill never know. . . . . . . . . . .Red

There will always be hacks for any online game. Usually people like punkbuster/valve keep most from getting too widespred, but they're always going to be there.

I do believe people take the whole thing out of context though, after all it's just a game. I could really careless if everyone was cheating or not, it's no big deal to me, I can see where it would matter in tournys and matches though thats it.

I find the people that scream hacker far far more annoying than the actual cheaters and people whom consistently whine about it when 98% of the time its a false accusation and just causes the skilled players problems.

but there are scores of admins that monitor closely all activities,
and we ALWAYS find find Haxors
yet you 'elitists" still deny they exist

Sadly no matter what game you play their will allways be someone looking to use cheats or make them , because they just dont have the abilty that others do.

I didn't read all 6 pages. But let me add this. Sorry if someone said it already.

BF2 is getting full of people who have mastered one or two aspects of the game. Therefore they can do things others think impossible. Weather it be 2 or 3 or 4 hundred hours with a certain gun. Or 5 or 6 hundred hours on one or two maps. Spend hundreds of hours doing it and you can become very very good with it. I have over 200 hours with the single pump shotgun. Started using it 500 hours back in my playtime. Maybe six or seven months ago. Was never called a hacker for the first six months. Been called one three times in the past month. No I do not hack, I have just mastered the gun and when I get in a groove, it's gonna be a bad round for the other team.

Ok that is skill but what do you have to say when you see a sergeant killing everyone in his way without never missing a shot, Killing a full squad of 6 with high ranking players on it. They are a lot of hacks out there, this is not like 6 months to one year ago that the game was really new and patch after patch those hacks became useless. Anyway bf2 is slowly dying, hacks are just part of that dying process. Ea dont care anymore about bf2. They want it to die so people buy new games.

Just play the game, it IS NOT full of hacks!
I could easily give that as an excuse for my poor K/D ratio but i dont!
I would rather try and do better, rather than coming compaining about hacks (just cos i got owned in a round lmfao)

If I see a sergeant killing everyone. I just assume they are starting a new account and have another account that is high rank. I have been doing that lately. I have been messing around with new names. like DuZYourMotherSew, or DoYouLikeApples. My newest one is Single_Pump_Pimp. I ranked up twice in one round. First kill of the round then a long way into it. Not everyone is a noob because of rank.

the thing is to pick good servers and stick with them. you'll see a lot less hacking if any. i jump on a lot of random 64 player servers so i see a lot of stuff that isn't right. but there are servers out there that the admins keep clean as best as they can.

As long as hacks have to be bought, they will never be in the mainstream like in CS.

Also the 'popular' hacks are the first to be found out by PB. So hackers own greed is keeping them in business.

I figured alot of these guys figured out they can make money with their skills so that why they charge. Its the American way of life.
