I will have the agree, that all the hacker kids will go run towards 2142 soon. I did purchase 2142, I will play it, but I will defiantly be playing BF2 at a regular basis as well.

I have never understood the appeal of hacking in a game. If youre not good, its called practice...and if youre still not good, just walk away and go play pong.

it's taken me a long time to get a decent KDR - thanks to IO coming out of course I am no longer a vehicle whore magnet heh. and of course sniping like mad, but now that I have a decent KDR I can step back from sniping and go close quarters.

and to end my random posting: cheaters/hackers are a waste of existence and should just find something they are good at rather than pretending to be good at something.

If you see someone with a hack then why not report to BFROE and take screen shots also try and download the game play and look at this before reporting, plus you can get some very good screen shots. Also don't not touch the screen shots (edit them) as if I can remember that they will not get submitted to our lovable EA (I think). It may the person a good shot and if on infantry only maps then you can expect to be naded all the time or snipped. But, from a personal point just report them. I see no point in giving up my game play as I do enjoy it and learnt a lot from good squad leaders who work as a team, play as a team and use the microphone rare that some people do exists. However if you feel so strongly you should gave the game a rest and come back to it when EA has finally killed it.

I get accused of cheating every single day on the regular server I play on (multiple times a day). Even a lot of experienced high ranking players Captain and up are convinced I cheat. I only play on one server (24/7 StrafeRight Karkand/Jalalabad/Sharqi) and I know the admins who monitor this server and according to them they've gotten countless cheating accusations regarding me from everything from an aimbot, to a wallhack to much more exotic hacks. I've gone as far as to record full length FRAPS videos of me playin to shut these people up but many of them still aren't convinced I'm legit. That being said let me restate - I don't cheat.

Not to say cheating in Battlefield doesn't exist because I'm sure it does but I think the majority of cheat accusations are people confusing really good players for cheaters. Cheat accusations have become a crutch for many players to rationalize the fact that some people are just plain better than them. And that's sad.

What is interesting about that video. It did not look like an Aimbot was active. Albeit, he was using the AK/SVD throughout the video. God, I wish I had not seen that video. I mean really, it is nice to see the tools of the enemy, but to see that, and to truly know there punkbuster does not catch that, God, it just took away from my day.

Then again, I don't seem to encounter too many of these types of people. And when you call someone out on it in-round, and say you are taking screen shots. They often leave promptly at the end of the round.

Bah, I guess some people enjoy that. I like the challenge of a regular game and still doing well without cheats. Besides, the game is so pretty without that un-rendered sky and visuals.

The only thing that screenshot proves is you were playing with a few guys on a 64 man server and he was good with a SVD. The SVD is a very good weapon if you know how to use it.....It's very accurate even firing as fast as you can (as long as you keep brining the weapon down as firing) I'm sure with it in that long of a game I would score that high too.

LOL, yeah, I am far from a n00b, but people say I am hacking because I get 4 gold stars in a row with my alternate account. I barely have broke 2000 points on that account but I own everyone with the stock weapons so people think I must be hacking. GG all, it is my alternate account!

Now that I've learned of the irrefutable proof of aimbots, wall hacks, and mini-map hacks, I'm inclined to start recording some videos of my gameplay, merely to keep my own name clear of such hack accusations.

I liked life better back when I thought they didn't really exist... :hmm:

As a Sniper on IO, I generally get a K/D of 10:1. Only medic whores beat me in global score. My team rarely loses either.

On servers (IO/16 player map) like [VSSP], I'm generally 20-40 points ahead of everybody else. My team rarely loses either...

On regular servers, I'm generally 20 points ahead of everybody else. Even I can't help my team win instantly since I rarely use the tanks. I prefer to use buggies so I can capture as many flags as possible... =P

I get accused of hacking every couple rounds. I've always shrugged it off as a compliment, considering the steady and progressive growth of my gamestyle and stats since I started playing back in January 2006... However, that was back when I was blissfully ignorant about them. I actually believed PB actually caught that crap.

Since turning second lieutenant, the only time I'll ever touch a medic kit, is when I see a dead enemy's one laying on the ground.

Still, you'd be suprised how hard it is to erase the stats of the past, when you're trying to balance out everything at once.

You'll also notice I have a teethgrinding 90 hours in Karkand as well, but since getting that, I've logged in at least 200+ hours in the game, playing dozens uopn dozens of other stages. The only time I'll ever play that stage is when it shows up in rotation on an all maps server.

Maybe if I can ditch my ADHD, and stick with a kit for a hundred hours, I'll be able to erase the 'medic whore' tag.
