Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
There might be a communications tariff there. I did not know the EU allowed that.
I don´t know if the EU allows it or not, but if we pass 1 Gigs of downloads then we pay some euros for every 100 extra megas...I don´t remember how much.
but isnt that data cap for anything? i mean it doesnt use any more or less data for you to play on a portuguese server than it would to play on say, a german or even a US server... the ping would suck more but youd use the same amount of data playing anywhere in the world.
Perhaps your fellow players are just going elsewhere?

atleast you dont have to pay monthly bills for BF2, and well xfire isnt accurate as not everyone use's it :p
I dont see how it is possible that in a few days the combined total of people playng 2142 can excede the total of everyone palying BF2 in over a year.
xfire stat shows minute played by all player last day. It is not total players who ever play the game but just time instead.
For example from that stat BF2 was played 1233 days total by all combine time of all players.

Yeah that sounds really fishy. I'm quite sure this would be against European law (as mostly everything is :) )

Exactly. There would be absolutley no reason for a fee like that. Plus the ping wouldn't even suffer much from switching from a portugese server to a Norwegian one. Either your service provider is blatantly violating European law or they really found a good loophole. Either way they are ripping you off and you should complain.
Definitely a downturn, but not the end of the world. Personally, I've noticed a noticeable reduction in noobs and smak-tards. Looks like they've found a new home in 2142.

In my country there where 3 Ranked servers wich hosted bf2, and they were allways full...after a while only 2 were normally populated...now there is only one with people playing in it and is isn´t full.
This means that at least here in Portugal more than 2/3 of the players quited BF2.
Is this a Worldwide trend or just here?
What is happening in your servers of choice?
P.S. - I posted this after reading EC-Paulus post...
Looks like you're right. Even in New Zealand with 4 million population we have way more than that, around 30 ranked servers.
