we've tested it, and the lowest player ID in the squad gets SL every time.... test it out if you dont believe me. To see the PID's go to the scoreboard and hit manage

Another weird thing is that when the game starts the players are aranged in alphabetical order so if the game ends with the score zero to zero the player with thier name in all small letters will be listed before the capitol letters. I have one Gold medal because of this, my in game name is all small letters. Just another strange quirk in this game. . . . . . . .Red
Yes your PID is always the same. You got that when you first signed up to play. During the orignal install. You can get a new PID by getting a new in game nick but it will be even larger than the one you have now.

No, I think this "PID" he is talking about is a number assigned to each player when they join the server... So I am not very sure when it does change.
This makes sense. I'm one of the first players to spawn (I guess i have a decent rig and connection) and every time we lose a squad leader I'm the one bumped up.

I thought it was rank, after seeing Red's post that makes sense most of the time because the people who signed up earlier with a lower PID generally have a higher rank due to time played. I usually get bumped up for rank too though.
But the PID is like a 10 digit number or something like that. When you are ingame and you go to manage, you see low numbers like 1 or 50. I think its the person who has been in that round the longest.
