It has been more than a year since the game was released, and I've noticed that various methods of annoying teammates became more and more widespread and used.
- Forcing TK's, including:
* Running in front of moving vehicles
* Running in front of aircraft or helicopters taking off
* Ramming vehicles into armor or other vehicles, causing the rammed to TK the "rammer".
* Ramming jets into helicopters in order to punish the pilot
Forced TK often are followed by Punishes. Repeated forced TKs may be used to cause the victim to be kicked.
- Teamkilling:
* Any TKs on purpose.
* Especially M95 (sniping people out of aircraft or helicopters)
- Unpunishable TKs, certain TKs cannot be punished, and methods vary. A common way is to drive a FAV or DPV towards an oblivious teammate and bail out before actually hitting him. The "momentum" will make the car kill the teammate.
There are other ways to TK and get away without being punished, but I'd rather not comment on them as fewer people know how to do it and it's not a great idea to spread.
- Redlining, deadzoning or "Out of bounds", to kill the gunner in an attack helicopter. Possible in FF off servers and not punishable.
- Flashbanging teammates, especially helicopters trying to take off and causing them to crash; or commanders to avoid them from effectively commanding.
Pushing people out of edge: Some people like snipers and commanders are often busy and not paying attention to the surroundings. It is then possible to push them off a building or a cliff if they are on one or even across the map in the case of commanders.
- Commander doable only:
* Artillery on own team
* Radio spamming
* Refusal to command.
* Dropping vehicles or supplies to TK (rare)
Usually mutiny votes are not successful to demote the commander.
- C4'ing teammates with FF off: Will send them flying. If they are distracted or don't open the chute in time, they die.
- Some others I may have missed or not noticed...
I will not be a hyprocite and say I never did any of those, but it is ridiculous how after so many patches it is still so easy to annoy your team.
I think BF2 is one of the best when it comes to annoying your teammates.
