Can't rank to First Sergeant?

Yep, happened to me too.

This is utter crap.

You have to obtain all your basic badges (AT, Assault, Medic, Knife etc) before the 20K mark.

So now I have to wait until 50000 points to get my next rank on this account, which doesn't include an unlock.

Hey EA, you assholes, The only reason I play this game is to get my unlocks. I play for fun, and to win. I don't play for stats. The only reason I play for stats or ranking is so I can use the weapons i bloody well payed for.

This is one of the reasons I won't be buying 2142. I shouldn't be punished for simply playing a game.

I want all the weapons available, so I can enjoy the game to its fullest, instead of getting pwned with superior weapons, by people who have 24/7 to rank up. Lamest deal buying this game ever....

So I started a new account, just so I can play with unlocks I didn't unlock yet (for example, Special Forces weapons, which I paid for , thinking i'd be able to use right away -nope). **** EA.

Getting 1st SGT means that you have to get all the required badges BEFORE you reach the 20,000 mark. Search next time.

You still rank up but you dont get first sergent, you get a rank under it. But remember that new rank is better than gunnery sergent just worse then first sergent. Same thing when you hit 50k, so please stop complaining.

I was a little worried about missing that so I recently worked a long weekend to get all my basic badges. But it was a little easier than I thought, so now I still need 8000 points for my promotion.

At 40-60 points per round, This going to be painfully slow. I may have to become a jet whore or something. :cry:

Are you kidding me i have all my basic badges and almost 2 vet badges and i have 5k points so how cant you get your basic badges when i got to my 50k mark i had all vet guns vet explosive expert pistol knife and cammander and vet transport. so how cant you get all basics before 20k???

Whether you're first sgt or master sgt you still have to obtain 30K for your next rank...calm down tiger.

I most definitely wouldnt have had all my badges before the 20k mark. I was lucky enough to happen to read a thread just like this one long before I got near 20,000. I quickly got the rest of my basic badges and went back to playing normally.

The whole stat system is just a bad idea and wasnt thought out too well either. How hard would it have been to put a notice in the stats page telling you you need all your basic badges. It would be SOO easy for them to do and would resolve many peoples frustrations but they were too damn lazy/stupid to do it.

These are the types of things that happen to a game developer when you have a publisher like EA on your *** constantly telling you to HURRY UP AND GET IT DONE SO WE CAN MAKE MONEY! All quality control goes out the wondow when you rush as bad as they do.

I'm on almost 10,000 and I have all my basic badges, just need to rack up the points now :/

perhaps do some research into the next rank,, thats what i did

it ****ing pisses me off, coz most of the ****ing time those ****ing show off first sergeants always get my ****ing commander position, even if i have more ****ing global points then them, its not ****ing fair

you could just create a squad and request jeep drops repeatidly just like a certain hippo i know

WTF?? I earn 20k+ pts and get master sergeant rank, then I look, that the next rank is first sergeant and I need just some basic badges (knife, engineer, pistol), so now I have these badges and I don't get next rank?? WHY???
